Honestly, I love the Atlantic, but I think this might be my favorite D’A. The Bedford SH is really in a class of its own.

I agree man. I've had an Atlantic since 2018. This year I sold it off for a newer Atlantic Deluxe limited edition. I really wanted the ebony fretboard and larger fretwire. While shopping, I found a Bedford SH - also a limited edition. I went for it and somehow had 2 brand new D'angelico guitars at the same time. I love the Atlantic because its familiar and a big improvement but I CANNOT put the deluxe Bedford SH down. It sounds like nothing I've ever heard before. Its not just my favorite D'angelico, its my favorite electric guitar, period.

Hi Giovanni! The Deluxe Atlantic and Premier Atlantic have numerous differences mainly their different tone woods and electronics. The Premier features a basswood body with Duncan Designed pickups, whereas the Deluxe features an alder body and Seymour Duncan Seth Lover A4 pickups. Right! Are the single coil sounds really that muddy? No spank or sparkle at all in position 4.

If you look at it the tone knob is basically all the way up. It’s pointed about at his head (weird way to describe it I know) but as someone who owns a dangelico guitar that’s where the tone knob is all the way up.
