The antennae were put in backwards for the reissue for some reason. They should be facing the other way like they did on the original

About the packaging issue: I just bought mine today at Walmart, I picked up a retrax and the plastic fell off the cardboard knocking off a wolfang in the process which proceeded to separate as well, the retrax I bought was just starting to do this as well, I made sure the nearest employee knew of the issue.

The original Retrax had the exact same hip looseness right out of the package. It would be interesting to see what could be done in a modern update for this guy.

They should’ve gotten rid of the spring loaded arms altogether. Give him normal robot arms that you can insert into the bug mode. Maybe turn the back pinser into a sword he can hold.

You can just take the pins out with tools and remove the spring, it makes the figure a lot better. Did it on mine and works well.

Just remove the metal pins that hold the arms in and remove the springs, takes a steady hand to put it all back but If you do, it removes the spring gimmick for the arms and makes it a whole lot more fun

Very interesting that your channel name is "Long's Toys" There's a CVS affiliated chain of drug stores called "Long's"! And they have a small toy section that sells toys and seasonal stuff, including the occasional Transformer. I want to get this one because his alt mode is so unique and alien looking like an alien should be👍

If you like to know about the springs.Mine still works. I bought all beast wars in stores back then Got them all. Well I was In high school, Part time job.So Had some money away to blow. Mine been on display for like 25 years is it?? SO Yeah Mine is still holding up after that long. I remember he was a shelf warmer back in the days.

They took 20% of the legs in the middle. Luckily, I found him for 25% off at Wal-Mart.

For whatever reason Hasbro gotten rid of the extra legs for his bug form. Still it's a very floppy mess the whole figure.

The reissue is missing the middle pair of legs for some reason. Idk why its just like that on all copies of it

@@izziewolf2834 All of my originals are in perfect condition, I bought reissues of cybershark, rattrap and primal. The new plastic is light and very cheap feeling, all the spring gimmicks are crappy and weak, rattrap barely flipforms. The original primal had this issue where the shoulder cannon monkey flap on the left side falls off over time. It launches off the new one immediately.

Had this back in the 90's and it was by far my least favorite beast war toy. Glad to see it's exactly as bad as I remember, haha.
