You dont have to use your cabin key to keep the lights on. Any card will do, even a business card, unless it is different from other Carnival ships I have been on. If this is like other Carnival ships, there is a thin clothesline you can pull across the shower to hang wet clothing on. The couch bed is kind of hard, so kids won't mind sleeping on it, but an adult might, unless you pad it with one of their comforters.

How was the noise from the stair, elevators, and people walking by the room?

Really didn't have any issues in this cabin with noise from others.

We will be on the seven-day as well. As far as the HDMI cable yes it should have one, but they have those blocked out so you cannot use HDMI if it has it or not

How noisy is level 1?

As far as this cabin it was very quite. Didn't really have any noise except if a neighbor slammed a door.

From this we did not have any anchor noise but for the inaugural we only went to Ensenada. The cove balcony that we stayed in which was the same distance from the bow of the ship did not have any anchor noise so I doubt this cabin would either. Now if you move farther forward you will hear the anchor, but not from this distance back. Also the only port for anchor is Cabo which is only 1 out of the 7 days. As far as engine noise I really don't recall hearing any from this cabin.
