Why isn't the academic allowed to explain his stand?

HIstory is a very tricky subject to prove or disprove. What we are left with are only fragments of evidence which may suggest what happened. Nevertheless, history gives us identity, meaning and purpose. It is a wonderful effort to try to clarify Singapore's history to answer questions raised by different versions of history. Thank you for sharing this video.

Why Mr Shan dun allow him to explain when he wants to explain and cut him off when he is trying to explain. Why Mr shan say assume... if this Dr. Wan to ask for evidence if the *name* are indeed the ex member of *sorry forgot what group already* Thank u. Not trying to contemt.. but I feel is a bit unfair to this Dr sia... :(

The questions posed on Dr Tham is based by the exact paragraphs in the book. It is within such content, Dr Tham should explain. So far Dr Tham is giving a general statement which is clearly away from the plain ordinary meaning of the book/paragraphs pointed to Dr Tham. Dr Tham is putting ( HIS STORY ) but not the facts as in the book. He wrote something else in his thesis and here he who referred to the books, is saying something else. Inconsistent out of the context !

Goodness Dr Tham is saying that he intorigated the book but he is saying something else as a general statement which is far away from the essence of the book on facts and substance. General Statements should not be entertained. All explanations must be read withing the four corners of the book and the paragraphs therein. Mr Tham must be guided back to context of the books, please.

Good to know that Dr Thum’s research is not objective nor complete. Surprised that he said Chen Peng is an unreliable source of information. Dr Thum is also not aware of other sources of information mentioned by Minister Shanmugam. He kept making funny faces when camera was on him reveals that he is feebleminded and immature to handle serious issues.

He made that face because he was dumb founded as to why shanmugam said not to delve into MCP records but then later made reference to it. Try to infer and not take things literally... geez. What an irony
