Nice scooter and amazing price. And funny that you and Jason first met underwater in Cayman!

I'm really looking forward to the Black Tip, looks like a great starter scooter before you are ready to invest in an expedition grade scooter.

Hey James. Love your vids. How tall are you? I'm asking because you look like a big fellow and I'm wondering if your comfy in a standard bp and wing set up. I'm 6'8" and going to that system now after many years of diving. I bought a 2" longer bp from custom divers, and will be webbing it soon. I'd love to see a video on how you stow your gear, what weight pockets you like, and how you route your hoses. But for the open recreational diver. Tec stuff would be a much longer vid and a different beast.

How long will it run for on 2 good batteries
@DiversReady4 жыл бұрын
From their website: RUNTIME & RANGE. Your BlackTip’s runtime and range will largely depend on your choice of batteries. With a fully-charged 5Ah battery installed, the BlackTip will run for about 50 minutes at cruise speed, or speed 3. With a 12Ah battery installed, your BlackTip will run as long as 123 minutes at cruise speed! This will give you an effective range between 1.4 miles at 5Ah and 3.5 miles at 12Ah. For more accurate data, test your scooter and record the runtime you personally get. You can also look at the charts that Dive Xtras publishes.

Can't fly with too big powertool batteries, limit is two 100AH i believe and they have to be in the carry on in case they catch fire.

The bigger DeWalt battery’s come with splitters, it is a red clip that splits the battery into smaller “battery’s” so, travel friendly!

You know it’s a good diver when he’s bald and has a permanent mask Mark 😂
