Thanks. These are Dataverse tables that can be modified as needed (add/remove columns). Each column has a type which will determine how it can be used to create time series.

thank you for the explanation but what is the purpose of forecast profiles I didn't get this point

Forecast profiles are used to actually generate forecast (prediction of future demand) from time series we created. Everything before that (calculations and transformations) were used to just created time series. Forecast profile creates forecast based on that time series.

Good tutorial, but for someone who just uses D365 F/SCM in general, there are a heck of a lot of details to remember to do what you did.
