We do S&OE on weekly basis, but the starting point is always the S&OP first. It represents a way to define tactical scenario in a period, as the current pandemic one, to provide to our customer the most reliable anwers. The horizon move from Customer up to Manufacturing and Suppliers, but for exception. Let me say a kind of Decision Meeting where the timing is the key value. thanks for this podcast

Hi Eric Wilson, very nice video. I don't see any documentation in your website. Do you have some documentation useful to implement the S&OE process in my company?

Great question, and the answer is still pretty much no. There are some journal articles that mention it and we have had a couple of real good conference sessions on the topic but not enough practitioners documenting it yet. I will be doing a 2 day S&OP bootcamp on the week of the 22nd of Feb (find details on ibf.org) and in that I have a whole section on best practices and implementing an S&OE process. After that I will see if I can write something for demand-planning .com as well
