That’s just typical Demar. Every year he came back a little better with a few new tricks. As a Raptors fan I remember the days when he was just an average jump shooter and a good dunker. He could barely carry a dribble. But every year he worked hard and got better. Now this guy is a beast and the Spurs are definitely reaping the benefits. Best of luck to the Spurs this year. i've been saying this since the trade happened and I'll continue to say it...Pop is going to turn Demar into a hall of famer, first 5 games with the Spurs 3 of those games with 8 or more assists, including a career high 14 assists, he's such a good fit for the Spurs system and he's only gonna get better and more comfortable in it!

As a Spurs fan i didnt ever realise how good this guy actually was until he joined us. He is an A- player whilst Kawhi is an A to A+ simply because of Defense. But DeRozan is a way better team player and play maker he has already eclipsed Kawhi's career high in assists twice this season

Game Central How Lebron has a low 3 pt percentage. Why wait until you have 8 or less seconds left and you are on the other side of the court with no timeouts to settle for a rushed 3 when you could take the ball back out and find a better 3. Lebron didn’t have to shoot he had 8 seconds and forced up a bad shot, Rondo actually got himself open for 3.

When people make the argument that LeBron is better than Kobe I often wonder if being a Spurs fan I am living in a bubble. LeBron never has seemed to be that "unstoppable" force that the rest of the league pegs him as against the Spurs. And of the players I can remember being that potent force that Pop never really found an answer to, only two come to mind: Kobe and Nowitzki. Even Durant can make a case but I feel his wins against Pop came because of the teams he was with versus how Kobe and Dirk competed against Pop led teams. It took LeBron a miracle three by one of the greatest three point scorers in NBA history and a close game 7 to finally beat Pop. In the Finals, Pop holds an 11-5 advantage against LeBron.

Demar has always been this way. He is great on offense, clutch in regular season games (some playoff games too). However, in the playoff u will all see, his shooting form brings inconsistency to his jump shot. That's why in clutch situations, he almost always chooses to attack the rim. In that case, if the defender is taller than him, he will most likely get blocked.

DOUBLE O WOO naw that had to do with the raptors as a whole team. they completely fell apart on the playoffs and stopped running plays, when it was crunch time Casey would have demar and Kyle run ISO’s and Casey was never creative with play calling. It was also mental with lebron, when ever they played him the whole team looked scared to death like lebron was unbeatable. That’s won’t happen with Pop and the spurs, no one on the team or coaching staff is scared of lebron they have beaten him his whole career, demar will see that and have a new confidence and it is already showing with these 2 wins
