The marking on the upper left side of his helmet is a tiny headhunter skull actually, which is extremely impressive. Get a magnifying glass to really see it, it's that well printed.

I am really looking forward for this set, it is truly amazing, Mega as a whole is thriving so much that some prices have actually LOWERED here, not by much, but Heroes at Walmart went down from 129MXN to 99MXN (1.5-ish USD less) and some sets arrived and had special sales pretty much at launch, not to mention that slowly but steadily, distribution has gotten better, I could find the whole Universe Blind bags set easily and even yesterday even found the full Infinite Wave Blind Bags 4! As for the female ODST, they need to make more armormplates, not reduce the divesity, I'm sure eventually they'll do that, in the meantime, I like to think that maybe she's uhm...overequipped and that causes her armor to fit like that, it could be a bit of fun character building.

i hope these "platoon packs" are here to stay! i LOVE (and have) them all. I hope they dont go away! Didnt know about Tarkov, and thought the scratches were a misprint on mine LOL. I think when Mega realized how much we like Fireteam Raven, theyre like "Lets just give em a bunch on niche named ODST's, WHY NOT!" Also i will say, the female torso, and the thy armor problems dont bother me at all personally! But i totally see why both are a problem and you are not wrong lol

It's hard to say what rank the drones are, due to inconsistencies between games. The blue one could be an ultra, if you wanted to, but the colour wouldn't be exactly right, and it doesn't have the horns. The silver doesn't seem to be of any particular rank, so you could imagine it as an elite unit

@@DemarcationMedia I checked halopedia earlier today, and according to halo 3 odst’s ranking system, the drone majors are the blue ones and the ultras are the silver-ish ones. I know they look different in reach though so who knows at the end of the day

The Reach Drones have the same ranks as the ODST Drones just with a different design. These are from ODST so the ranks will be from that game

@@imlewishehe I know what you mean. However Halopedia states that the Drones in light blue in ODST are Majors. And the silver ones in ODST are Ultras. And since they use the exact design from Halo 3 and ODST I’m assuming they’re designed to look like a Major and Ultra

I found that the chest pieces without the pegs for accessories work better with the female torso. I just swapped a few pieces around and it was fine.

A recon ODST would have been cool, but adding all the variants of the standard helmet was a nice touch. Also, the female and male Spartan torsos don't fit with this ODST armor either

Nobody realizes unless you look at it that they changed the hips on the old spartan females. In the old gungoose set with the red spartan, the hips are wider at the bottome of the piece.

There's a surprising amount of drone armor colors in ODST. I think the blue is just a different color of minor, or a captain but not a major or something. It gets muddy like the brute ranks.

I believe that the reason for why the chestplate can’t fit on the female torso is because the Buck/chestplate with attachment wasn’t updated with the indents for the chest inside. I wouldn’t know this since I don’t have these figures on hand, but it’s a possibility since the normal chestplace has these indents. I usually switch these torsos like you do, but I would prefer if they created a different chestplate that can fit and look like it’s built for the female torso. Maybe it can have some modifications to make these figures easily identified.

Here's the good news: This set and the Red Team Hog is part of Walmart's reintroduction of Mega. Most Walmarts removed Mega from the shelves but they're adding it back thanks to these new sets. So keep your eyes peeled. This set came from CA actually

I think I just found my favorite set, and not gonna lie, I really miss the snow ODST figure, but this set could make up for me. Getting Tarkov in this set is a really nice touch, as well as having the Reach-era Covenant Drones. I’m curious about which ODST you would pick if you’re to have them as a mascot figure for representing the Helljumpers, I would definitely pick the green Demo man, though he’s gonna get the MA5D assault rifle from Halo 5, or the MA40 from Infinite, and a Halo CE Magnum, just not the Mk. 50 Sidekick. For other figures, it’s really cool to see them all representing their roles uniquely with their issued equipment for their skill set, as well as having different gender and race diversity among members, just like Emile being a different descent in Noble Team, which is pretty realistic, considering that most squads will obviously not have only Americans but of course there’s other nationalities involved. Tarkov having extra prints like the blood type on his shoulder pad is a nice touch, it should be mandatory for all ODSTs to be having different blood types just so it’ll create a unique immersion in diorama builds. The dark bluish purple guy looks cool, though I really wished that they have more weapons which would be nice to have, just so they’re more armed than how they’re equipped with. I do agree with you regarding Mega’s choice for the white ODST having a female torso for our medic, which is incompatible with the current ODST chest armor, chances of the said armor breaking for us collectors is pretty high, just by seeing it bow outwards and not conforming, and I wouldn’t want that to happen to everyone else. Maybe they shouldn’t stop giving us a female torso, but make a new mold of the ODST chest armor being compatible with a female torso just to solve this issue. As well as the thigh armor being a little constricting, it’s best to have it rounded off more for mobility wise. Thank you for making this review, really hoping to get this set someday.

Would be interesting to see how Mega does this, and they should bring back the ODST armor customizer package again, really wanted to see more armor parts being used for each ODST, as well as introducing parts that’s mostly unheard of for ODST minifigures to have, like what the medic has, by using a TACPAD arm from a Reach figure as her main equipment.

I want to get this set and the 20th anniversary set so that I can put the helmet from the medic on Mickey because this is the perfect helmet for him. Mickey sometimes has a red stripe and sometimes has a white stripe. I personally like the white stripe more and the color of Mickeys armor and the armor of these odst are very similar if they aren’t the same
