Yes Lokesh, You can do so by opening new trading and demat account with your preferred broker and shifting your shares from old demat to new demat account. Do check with your broker first before doing so.

Hey Kaustubh Budar, A trading account is only used to transact/trade shares, whereas the shares that you purchase for the long term, are stored in your Demat account. And, when you trade stocks in Intraday, those shares are directly bought and sold via your Trading account through the exchange. No, you don't have to keep a minimum balance in trading account. Demat account has shares in it, so no minimum amount there also.

You demat account will be in CDSL or NSDL but zerodha will take care of that. Your trading account will be associated with Zerodha Kite platform. You can transfer money from your saving account to zerodha kite account.
