I was in Dungti in 1966-67. The map sketch seems to be misleading. Fuktche was upstream,and had an advanced landing airfield. then Dungti downstream. Demchok was not on the banks of Indus but on a kutcha motorable road to Chushul. Mettled roads were non-existent during those years.
