This designer left me in “awe.” I absolutely love the long sleeves, sparkling headpieces, veils. Bridal designers these days don’t showcase their bridal creations along with veils, veils give the gowns a complete look. Demetrios’ 2020 bridal collection is pure perfection.

Yes, but i wish i could have seen the back details longer than 1.2222 seconds lol and also, the waistlines on A line and fit and flare trumpet sheath empire or mermaid the gowns with emphasis on bodice neckline and design focal point at waistline or train that waistline should be fitted to the tee without so much excess the movement and intentions of each gown statement is lost diluted and leaves you wondering Hmmm wonder what it would look like in her size Gee Sure wish these girls werent dressing up in Mommys clothes because the gowns were breathtaking! And the walk of a few of the brides /Boxing Champs and Bodyguards and Fullbacks for the Minnesota Vikings leave you wondering why the designer wouldnt have answered to the more comfortable beautiful lines that would accentuate their beauty and their masculine side while still wearing soft fabrics delicate focal points why not a sailor button front sailor cuffed trouser and a beaded opaque vest over a lace covered camisole short or just the vest in halter style a sheer blazer a pair of kid leather ankle boots with a lift . Hair spiked top and front flip side parted and sides clean faded and necklace choker of satin ribbon from grooms clothing or let groom choose a blue ribbon necklace or a blue rose or wear a small blue beaded anklet or bracelet or headband or put some blue lobelia or Crystal Palace in a boutonniere!

I heard a mother who was a famous global runway model on a phone call from her stunning but starving herself runway model daughter calling her mother because it was runway week for her and she was fainting due to absolute fasting and limited clear liquids, to just swish the no sodium veg broth in her mouth spit it out and to eat only 1 almond a day! One almond? One almond and swish the liquid then spit and continue with diuretics and laxatives and to reserve energy only for the walk but recline without movement until showtime! Holding a caffeine potent syrup in the mouth for 3 minutes then spitting out would give her the strength but oh no...not a caffeine concentrate to be found then caffeine pills chewed then held between the cheeks and gums for 3 to 5 minutes but rinse well do not swallow the caffeine as the pills usually cause the already fasting bile concentrate in the stomach to become even more acidic which eats the stomach lining and creates blood pH to react and bubble and the only thing worse than fainting on the runway is fainting and vomitting passing gas and deficating ....i mean....who's with me? Am i right? We dont want a repeat of Paris 2018 there are some things you just cant unsee and no designer wants to deal with the whole paramedic defibrillator Air Lift drama, i mean you can die if you want to...jussst dont do it while you are wearing a Vera Wang one of a kind exclusive ball gown dripping in hand beaded crystals and pearls and laced the entire length of the dress with the 10 foot train!

I love the big ball gown styles Demetrios had back in the eighties and early nineties (Ilissa ?). Gorgeous. Now these today, the fabrics are beautiful and a lot of the dresses skirts are gorgeous, but I don’t like the bodices. I’m just not into the sleeveless, backless, deep plunge, off the shoulder, see-through, feather covered, fad styles of today. Inventive, yes but not my cup of tea. Now use those fabrics to re-make an 80’s Demetrios dress, and I’m all in!

I wore a Demetrios in my wedding and let me tell you.... His designs are more beautiful in person. The bead work is unreal, and the fabric quality will make you feel like you are wearing a million dollar dress. They are heirloom dresses that you pass down from generation to generation. I also love how he uses ivory/cream instead of white. It makes them look even more rich.
