If we’re being honest, everything is still more challenging for him due to his size. Yes he’s elite skill wise but when it comes to his stature, he’s almost always at a disadvantage so he has to use his skills to manipulate the opponent rather than just being able to have an immediate advantage with size. He seems like he looks at life like he’s a video game character and he is trying to figure out what cheat codes apply and don’t apply.

His opponent is a 248lb brown belt. Basically a legit heavy weight. Even with this video I don't think people realize how insane this is. Its not only BJJ skill here that DJ is showing. Simply being great at BJJ would not enable him to overcome the size difference. His strength to weight ratio, body sense, and overall athleticism, combined with his crazy skill enabled him to win. Which is usually enough to get people to roll but he his very heavy so dj stuck his leg under the big guys stomach for more leverage. And once he rolled him onto his back he just pulled on his collar and twisted his lower body until he got the tap. Dj is a master
