Demetrius in Lockdown Day 22

At the beginning of the pandemic, Murmur Ring interviewed creatives around the world about their experiences surviving in lockdown. Demetrius Dameron is a chef, caterer, and entrepreneur in Englewood, Chicago. In this piece, he reflects on running an essential business and keeping his family safe, in the midst of economic and cultural crisis. The b-roll footage was taken by Demetrius and his son on his phone. The interview took place on Day 22 of Chicago's original COVID-19 lockdown.
