You guys were actually right. She was sexually assaulted, by her drug dealer. And she ended up OD'ing, but was thankfully found by her assistant at the time. You guys should check out both her documentaries. The first one is called Simply Complicated, which talks about how her addiction started. And the second is called Dancing with the Devil; which talks about her relapse with drugs.

“She saw Barney’s end” 😂😂😂😂 I always watch to the end… you never know what makes the cut 😅 this is actually the first time I’m watching the MV for this song, I was actually hesitant to see it because drugs have impacted my family. I myself have a very strong aversion to alcohol and drugs for this reason. But I’m very proud that she is telling her story and possibly helping others know what can happen.

I got up super early to take my daughter to see Demi live on the GMA Summer Stage about 10 years ago. I lived about two hours outside of the city. I think she had just starting performing again after a break to deal with her issues. She is a surprisingly awesome performer. Lots of energy and an amazing voice. Her fans were going wild. I was happy to see them supporting her in the SRO section. It was the tamest mosh pit ever though. 😁 I sat with the rest of the elderly in the bleachers.

Food for thought. In this video Demi made it as real as possible. She wore the exact T-shirt and green jacket she had on that night. She was assaulted by her dealer and left for dead. The tubes were shown at her neck because the had to drain her blood directly from her artery going to brain quickly ending in almost total blood transfusion. Hence her survivor tattoo on neck. She was on a heart machine briefly and vent. When she first woke up she was blind and didn’t recognize her sister and close friend. She was so daring and brave here. Agree that this may have been cathartic for her. So proud. I witnessed the death of a boyfriend from accidental heroine overdose when I was 20. He’d been clean 6 years and counseled others. And lost a cousin this year to an overdose/suicide. Can’t do enough to highlight this topic. Thank you Demi and you two for reacting and putting this out there. ✌️

"you didn't realize she could sing like this"??? 😲 and you're talking about demi, someone who's been singing like this ever since she stepped onto the pedestal? bro, you're missing out. demi has been consistently good over the years, serving vocals that other artists hit, but with a more chest textured voice. she's been a powerhouse from day one and i recommend you check some of her other stuff.

Demi Lovato started as a Disney Child star just like Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez.. those trio where responsible for the Disney's Golden age back then. Camp Rock, Sonny With a Chance were successful Disney shows that put her on the map. She's been doing drugs since her Disney days apparently.

It doesn't matter how many times I listen to this song and watch the video, I always tear up. And yes, she was raped that night by the dealer. It's so sad what she's gone through in her life. She's such an amazing and brave person and I am so glad we didn't lose her that night. I couldn't take losing another artist who I've loved for such a long time. When Chester Bennington died, I was heart broken

Lmao I'm only at the beginning of the video so far but it's ironic mentioning The Beatles because Demi did a cover of "Here Comes the Sun" on an episode of Glee. It's really beautiful actually. I haven't watched your content to know your view of The Beatles but as far as I'm concerned, Demi could do a cover of almost anything and make it 10x better.
