She had a cramped schedule and her manager said it was getting to her. People liked to make fun of demi but if they watched her document called "simply complicated" she literally explains ,along with the jonas brothers, her trainers and manager talk about her experiences with her biological father, bullying, self issues, tough schedules and more and how it all affected her. But she is trying to be grow. The good thing about demi is that when demi has issues ,she takes time off to focus on herself, like when she went to rehab. Many celebs dont do that and that's how their issues escalate more.

Man this brings me back to seventh grade. I was bullied through most of the year, my parents just separated. The first times in my life where I experienced depression....i didn't know it was called that back then. The first time I began self harming, throwing away my education bc I simply stopped caring about life. When I was home, I slept more than normal to escape reality in my dreams. I remember music became an escape from me. I would sing this song everywhere I went to myself, bc although I didn't have many friends..it brought me so much comfort. I'm 21 now and although I still battle with mental illness, looking back I wish I could give my younger self a hug and tell her I'm proud of her for continuing to fight.

Back in Middle School I started to hang out with this group of girls and I thought we were friends, because we basically did everything together. Then High School rolled around and our little group slowly started to split up and I started to realize a rift between us. By about December of my Freshman, it hit me that I have no friends and that hit me hard, it was like a knife to the chest. As Freshman year went on, I slowly started sinking deeper and deeper into a pool of remorse and depression. By the end of Freshman year, I was just the girl who barley spoke a word and sat in the corner with her face in a book. I had become a person that I didn't want to be. That summer I had gone to a broadcasting camp and I was told something that I will never forget and that probably saved my life, I was told that know matter what you think people do care even if you don't think so, and that we're all one big family. With that in mind, I sat by one of the friends I made at camp, named Lizzy. I started making new friends and for the first time in a long time I felt apart of something again. I had friends, who actually cared about me. Anyways, Sophomore year flowed on perfectly until December. That December my ex-best friend, Ashley, gave me an allocation, about how I have changed and how I am fake and all that. I simply told that she was the fake one for misleading and abandoning me. With that the intimation that any type of friendship between us was simply the in the past. Ashley and all them slowly started to want to be friends again and I informed them that their chapter in my story was over. Anyways, Im happy again and I look forward to what the rest of my story has to bring.

I had a friend named Ashley too. She left me simply because I had ‘changed’ i was depressed for months as all my previous friends took her side and left me to drown in the sewers of freshman year. I had dyed my hair brown, i had gone into hiding (i was kinda popular but not in the best way) and I wasn’t sure who i was anymore. I had become something I despised. I couldn’t look in the mirror without feeling like hell with ashley’s word lingering in my head. A group of rude girls found the spot where i sat at lunch and i ran off to find somewhere different. I found a grass patch behind a building and i called it my school house since i didnt know what home felt like anymore. I had gone into a week of sitting in my new spot and a girl came along a said ur in my spot. My friends were my backbone and I never really realized how much fun I had when I was with them. Then high school came around, and with each passing day, we drifted apart and I was the odd one out. I couldn't keep up with them as they each became more "popular" and we just started to drift because they all began to hang out with different people. It is probably the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. My friends don't support each other either like we used to. You are not alone. I feel your pain.

It's very hard for me to accept "the gift of a friend." I had the best of friends in elementary. Once middle school came, we've all split up and went to different schools. For years I've tried to stay in touch with each of them. My very first best friend I had since the 3rd grade, loved her to death. We were Selena (me) and Demi (her). we were obsessed with them back then lol. We kept in touch in the beginning of 6th grade, then lost touch. For years, I've been trying to find her again. Some mutual friends seen her and I would tell them to tell her I said I missed her. Recently, 2-3 months ago, I found her on social media (in the most coincidental way! But that's a different story..) And we were direct messaging and then we talked on the phone. It was incredibly amazing to catch up with her. So many memories and new experiences we've shared. But...I would try calling and she would always claim she's busy..which is understandable. I even tried seeing if we could hang out, if she could spend the day at my house. She couldn't one day. We talked on the phone one night, having a normal conversation, then she had to go. She said she would call me back. It's been about 2 months since then and she's never called back. I didn't wanna call her, I wanted to see if she was really 'friend' enough to call me since every time we'd talk I was the first to call. This really hurt, considering everyone in our grade knew we were so close in elementary. Everytime I try to reconnect with a friend from elementary, it doesn't go as you'd think. Like with her. Everyone grew up, have their own set of friends, don't care about past friends, even though they claim they do. I always use to think was it me that did something wrong. But it was them that didn't wanna let me in. I had another best friend from elementary who became best friends with this girl from her middle school. She would always hang out with her and never really showed any interest in hanging out with me. hat girl one day betrayed her so cruelly. When I was there, she still didn't have any interest in hanging out with me. To this day, I am only close with one friend from elementary. I am currently in 10th grade. I am very antisocial, and part of it's because I've gotten abandoned by the people who meant so much to me. It's hard for me to make friends because I feel like I'm gonna be abandoned again. I was so nice and friendly then. These days I don't even like to talk to someone in the halls of school that I know. I do have some pretty great friends now that I'm pretty sure I'd keep for a while. The Gift of a Friend is truly amazing, but it's hard to determine who your true friends are.

I have always been good at socializing and making friends since I'm young and while that is a good thing, I never made any bestfriends. I really want a bestfriend, someone who I can share with and journey with in both good and bad times, someone who will never leave. and I have also felt being forgotten by my old friends. it kinda hurt, doesn't it, when you can feel yourself slowly becoming less and less important in their lives? so I can really understand you. plus, we are the same age!!
