What I like about this song is that it talks about her hurting yet the music progression isn't minor which would put strain on the emotion. It's actually a major tone and it sounds beautiful that way. I don't think I've heard other artists sing sad songs with a major note. Only Demi can pull this off.

This song is so amazing. One of my grandmas died when I was 4/5. I don't remember her that well. I know her picture very well, and I only have two memories of her. Both are of her funeral. One is when my dad made us all kiss her cheek and I think that's where my fear of seeing people in caskets comes from, but the other is when we were at the cemetery and I didn't understand what was happening. My mind just kept saying, "why is everyone crying" because I was standing next to my sister and she was sobbing. I have freckles, and my mom used to say that they are angel kisses and that grandma was kissing me a lot, because I have so many freckles. I miss her a lot, but I know she's in a better place. This song reminds me of her so much. I love it!
