Mike Carter in this case, it does. Many people who struggle with mental illness resort to drug and alcohol use to numb the pain. It's not an excuse used by white people exclusively. Read a book or keep your uninformed opinion to yourself to save yourself from embarrassment

I love the fact that celebrities are open about mental health, however, they have access to the best doctors and rehab facilities. There are thousands of middle class and homeless people that need treatment but cannot afford it.

Money has nothing to do with it. Them using their platforms to speak out about mental illness is giving the lower class the recognition they need. It's making it more so that they are taken more seriously rather than as a joke.

So they shouldnt speak about it at all?? They are only two people and are doing their best to raise awareness, they cant change the entire structure of socioeconomic classes. It's very frustrating when people devalue awareness and philanthropy.

they can afford but it doesn’t mean their journeys will be easy or instantly work, sometimes it’s hard getting the right diagnosis/therapy and there’s the element of shame and relapse just like with any other person sadly

Beth Stephenson she gained a lot of weight, that doesn’t mean she’s healthy. And she was younger during Disney so that’s why she was thin. She has an eating disorder! That’s not healthy,, she really needs to get help. She is young and filthy rich, she has the means to get all the help possible
@paulacawan
@paulacawan 4 жыл бұрын
Aguacate con Limon and More actually it does! In her case, she actually allowed herself to eat more with the 6-meal a day diet while maintaining daily exercises/jujitsu practice. So if anything, her gaining weight is definitely a healthy progress as compared to her starving during the disney days (which didnt really help her eating disorder)

They're not promoting anything but the mom's book and raising awareness for mental illness. You keep repeating the same shit but a quick Google search will prove you wrong. You keep calling them drug whores but why are you here then in the comment section replying to every comment praising them. You sound so butthurt rn. Sometimes it's hard to reach for help because not everyone really wants to help you. Like for example, psychologists/psychiatrists don't take their job seriously. They sit there, listen, prescribe whichever medication && see you again next month. Other do care for their patients && you can tell by the way they speak to you. I'm glad Demi and her mom found someone that do care.
