Her role in A Few Good Men was better than The Substance. But I will admit The Substance is one of her better and best movie since the last few decades what she has done.

It´s not a typical Oscar Winning Acting .... BUT the Academy has recently started to recognize the art poured into odd cienma (more like unusual ways to make and deliver pictures) so... She has a big chance!!

In these interviews, they should mention it's a body horror film and it appeals to horror fans mostly as some people might expect something completely different than what is on the screen.

We're in front of the rebirth of Demi's career thanks to The Substance movie in which her performance amazed me as much as her co-star Margaret Qualley, who I've been a fan of since she was in Tarantino's Once upon a time in Hollywood. By the way, I didn't know Jennifer Hudson was a TV host like Drew Barrymore, then congratulations Jennifer.

Can we stop telling stars there's Oscar buzz on their film. I don't like seeing them disappointed that they didn't get one cuz people told them your getting Oscar buzz.

Yeah, but Demi is aware that horror movies are rarely get recognized at the Oscars, especially in the Best Actress category, so I think she's wise enough to know that her chance to get an Oscar nomination is not a 100%.

WHAT... not a single word (or question) about the author/director ? How is that possible ?! Let me sort this a little... Yes... this film is another one of those "boring" and "pointless" French flicks ! Too often have I heard such stupid words, from folks with preconceived ideas and narrow-minded ways. When all you need, when sitting before a wide screen, is to have your mind and curiosity fully opened. When director Coralie Fargeat (pronounce "ko-rah-lee far-jah") had the seeding idea for her script it was after realizing, as a woman, her net "profitable value" would be inferior due to A) she was a girl, B) she had turned 50, C) doors would remain closed because she's French. But she was determined, skilled, not focused only on details, with a meaningful message to pass on... That got her more than "simple" interest from Demi Moore, and a huge "YES" when the latter realized what this adventure would eventually be. As an actress, for this type of film and character you have to withstand hours of prosthetic make-up, months away from home, being surrounded by a staff you've never ever met, working with an unknown author/director, etc... not a easy situation, even for someone as experienced as Mrs Moore. This is how you get a superb film, with all those problems to solve and things to express ! Next time, consider the author and/or director... without her, there would simple be NO film, and NONE of your programs as well ! Thanks. 😬🤌
