I tell myself that silent moment is music too. It is the stuff that makes this kind of music true. I can only accomplish it on my piano if I am left alone and unbothered. @@durden91tyler that's a REALLY broad question. Main thing is spend on speakers. Even cheap amps today are great (not so back in the golden age), things like fancy DACs are a waste of money if you're starting out. As for turntables, get a used one that's a known quality brand for cheap (just keep browsing 'til you get lucky). THE most significant bang for your buck will be on the speakers themselves.

I’ve always been someone who appreciates other people’s writing, and I stick to the visual stuff- drawing, painting, and sculpting. Usually I end every night in bed with a good book, my dog having crawled under the covers and snoring little chihuahua snores, and my earbuds in, with either a dark ambient soundtrack or an album like this one, doing the heavy lifting of turning my mind off (or at least putting it on pause). Out of black oblivion, I spotted a golden river of light cutting through the abyss -an oasis of life in a wasteland of nothingness. As I approached it, I found that it was just as lifeless as the void that encroached upon it. No car nor soul dare disturb the surreal scene before me. Making my way down the lonesome streets, I began to hear something slow...steady...rhythmic. I had to strain to hear it sometimes; it was so faint. Although I never found the source of this music, for some strange reason, it seemed to be calling out to me; it was as if it were trying to ask me a question. A stranger dressed in all black who taps you on the shoulder and lets you turn around to simply disappear on you -vaporize out of thin air. It asks me "Why are you here?", and I've nothing to defend myself with except "...I don't know...but I think I want to stay awhile".

Was there black face mask too along with all black clothes? Then it was probably me tapping on your shoulder. I do that from time to time to strangers and then immediately -vaporize out of thin air. Hate bringing bad news, but cannot choose if they are actually bad or good or neither.
