People really seem to overlook the themes of this album and only focus on the music, which is not a wrong approach! But to me it's fascinating how creative and innovative they were here, the lyrics are horrifying without having to employ the overused metal-trope of death, murder, serial killers, etc. They talk about pretty incomprehensive stuff, dimensional theories, surreal settings; a great example is the fifth track. It's about travelling through different dimensions, and on the last one you arrive at (which on the title is denominated as being _truly_ endless), there is a road covered with cadavers, that are being eaten by shadows, all of this located in the nineteenth extremity of a galaxy-sized monster/demon. With no escape, you just walk around and around, hoping your soul doesn't get eaten or destroyed like the others, but you just know it will. Genius.

You know its gonna be a brutal album when its released in 1993, the singer sings like a fucking demon , and the guitars are tuned in A Standard (more down tuned than Carcass in their first albums in B, later used by Korn but in 7 string), pretty fucking disturbing for that time. Amazing record

Every week I try to put in 3 or 4 new albums, for the sake of innovating and just listening to something new. To this day, i've heard about a good couple hundreds of metal records. Nesphite is the one i listened the most. THE ONLY ONE I never get tired of. The one I've heard so many times i lost count. The one everytime I hear i find something new in it that dazzles me. So, having heard so many records, I find it extremely easy to say this is my favourite metal album.

Hi, old skull Death Meta freak here If I may interject as to WHY this album is so uniquely great: yes the vocals and yes the weirdo riffs....they’re at the forefront and yes damnit they are unique but the nail in the coffin is *the rhythm section* NOT only is the bass audible but the dude goes above and beyond making the grooves even sicker by not only playing his part but adding these sick little flourishes here and there. Did I mention the bass is fucking AUDIBLE?!? That’s so damn rare for good extreme Metal that it’s noteworthy alone. Plus as a drummer myself I can only describe their guy as fucking madhouse, the double bass work alone makes me wanna fucking give up. Make no mistake- these fucking Finns were masters of their craft and clearly had a vision beyond a multitude of the Legion that is Death Metal. HAIL!

Who says that this too much for anyone, its the perfect off key notes and atonal as hell. Feeling the groove here, with the means to get there by just riffing all atonal and shit, its spectacular, state of the art death metal, solid statement. The themes here are consequence of a twisted mind, reminds me of Disharmonic Orchestra, they have grindcore in their later songs like off of Not To Be Undimensional Conscience, out of 1992 so brutish and pure thrashy elements there was so much there.

@@surfboardjoker6299 While it's not similar, I'd say checkout Using Sickness As a Heroe by Human Remains. It's Grindcore / Tech Death and sounds a bit like Death. But it's really weird and cool.

There will never be another quite like demilic, really do enjoy excrescent tho, you can tell they take some of their style influences from demilic as well as vocal influences. Great bands all around. Thanks for the upload of this masterpiece. Cheers mate
