Hello, When I put on XPS foundation insulation, I will sink it 40 cm (about 16 inch) below ground and 40 cm will be above ground. What should I use to cover the part underground? Should I glue facade mesh on it too? And at the end what should I treat it with? Where the EPS aluminium base rail bottom meets with the XPS foundation insulation, can the bottom of the aluminium base rail be simply plastered/glued? Or with what should I cover this base rail? Thank you for your answer in advance!

no you supposed to put cement bond to 2 places ,wall & tile or styrofoam for a even bond ,you will have empty not bonded spaces JUST LIKE TILES
