Mr John Zhu, THANK YOU!! I've been searching the internet for the past couple weeks looking for a tutorial so that I can add a braided edge on one of my purses & I have yet to find one yet that explained how to do it so that I could understand it, until I found this tutorial. You explained & demonstrated it perfectly! TY SO MUCH!

Thank you for taking the extra mile making this wooden jig to show the weaving with clarity. Appreciated.

Fantastic demonstration. The exaggerated display piece, and a black line to denote the underside it's probably the best demonstration I've ever seen of leather stitching

This was really clear and straightforward. I’m glad you used a big lacing pony instead of fumbling around with something small. I look forward to trying it on my next project.

So many youtube videos are produced by people who may be excellent craftsman but fail miserably at teaching and filming. This is a rare exception. I thank you much and will probably use this braid that I might not have considered because of its apparent difficulty. You made it easy.

Thanks John. It's always my goal to get people to enjoy working with their hands again.

Great job you are a good teacher. If you made a horizontal cut through the center of all the holes and hinged it, you could slide your braiding off, when you were done! I don’t know what that would look like-just a thought. Good job!!!

Thanks. glad it could be of help. I think it would be interesting, especially if the braid was a metal and you burn off the wood.

Creative way to teach! thank you. How do you estimate the length of leather thong you need? I've heard 7 times the length? What would you suggest for this specific braid? Many thanks

How long roughly does the lace need to be? Like how many times the length of the project do you need?
@johnzzhu6 жыл бұрын
