Yeah, finding a 2hp Bell demo on KZbin was a bit of a loosing battle.... best i found was a Japanese guy on Instagram. Pluck is lovely and gets all the airtime.

It's a 2hp Module created by a wonderful Company of crafty Electronic Engineers who took an incredible idea of making tiny Modules which are Full of enumerable possibilities. People save money as well as space in their Modular Systems/Racks by utilising these small 2hp Modules. Just don't place them next to each other and they're much easier to use! Funny~❗🙈💥

Really nice demo, finally someone did one, haha! :) Thank you, could you please make a follow-up where you focus a bit more on odd use cases, so a bit more experimental?

I think it is also the melody you've made here, but this makes me think very much of Aphex Twin Beetles or some other early IDM. It's nice to hear the decay of some sounds in a modular rig. It sounds as if it can be triggered very quickly. Do you think you could send several notes very quickly to make chords? Thanks for sharing! The gamelan kebyar gongs are especially nice.

Cracked me up: "I wish they (2hp) would just make 4hp modules and make everyone happy." Probably my biggest complaint actually. The size makes them so fidgety and fragile. The whole point is to have a tiny module, sure, but at times squeezing them into 2hp feels dangerous -- I swear they often end up making contact with other modules in the rack if you squeeze them actually into 2hp. Sounds great this one though. The pluck sounds great as well, though I had to send it back once, and now the trigger light no longer works, and tuning is, again, very fidgety.

yeah totally, the 2hp concept is pretty cool for basic utilities, but with Pluck and Bell and probably some others, they really found something cool/unique that could have reeeeally benefited from a higher build quality and an interface that's more hands-on friendly

This sounds good. I especially like the first model. I just finally got a Rings a few weeks ago. I have used it in multiple ways and really love it. The one problem I have is that the gain sometimes seems to get out of control. Maybe it's just because I'm getting older, have some hearing damage and I'm sensitive to certain frequencies. It really does seem to get really loud though. From your demo that doesn't seem to be an issue, but that could just be good audio engineering :) What do you think? Does Bell get super loud with certain settings or is that just the nature of Rings because of the way it uses feedback and resonance? Thanks for the video. I think this looks like a good module to buy, after I build the Befaco Hexmix suite, that is.

I know what you mean, I dont have Rings, but i have MI Elements which (i believe) has the same resonator section, it can easily get extremely loud and feedbacky - Bell doesn't have a resonator like that, so no problems with unexpected extreme sounds :)
