DEMO: Arduino, CC2541 (AT-09, HM10) Bluetooth-Module BLE and 'ATOM FAST' App as a geiger counter

This is a Demo for using the ATOM FAST App without an Atom-Dosimeter, for example for measuring the radiation with an DIY-Geigercounter and show the level as Colours in a Map.

The Arduino-Code sends first dose-rates from 111.11, 222.22 .. 555.55 to the CC2541 via UART which is transferred via Bluetooth to the Smartphone and shown in the App. Afterwards it polls the CC2541 for changes in the variable "parameter#1" (Sounds off/Clicks/ Beeps) and sets the LED in different modes. And finally it reacts on pulses on D3 in an Interruptroutine with counting, doing some maths and transmitting as a Dose rate to the App.
If somebody has skills to program the CC2541 further: It should be possible to count the Pulses directly in the BLE-Chip, without an Arduino!

After the title, I was expecting some actual geiger counter trials, but you're just touching the arduino port. Not very practical.

No, not very practical to measure ionizing radiation, you're right. And not very practical anymore in times of the RadiaCode- and RAYSID-Apps. But thats not the point. Only one year ago the ATOM FAST-App was the only way to show different dose rates in the terrain in a Google-Map. 'Somebody' has find out, how anybody gets the information from a widely used arduino to the cellphone and the App. Only a few weeks later I received my RadiaCode-101 and it was no longer necessary to add high voltage and a geiger tube to the Arduino. But of course I did it anyway ^^

For use only esp32 (ble, wifi, 2core cpu)?

yes, perhaps. I have no experience with ESP32 and BLE, but with WLAN its power consuming is not very low. Many people build a geiger counter with an arduino, because its relatively easy and simple. With this "bridge" they can add the possibility of viewing the results of the measurement in a map, using the ATOM FAST-App.
