I had the CT 202, the big brother of the 101, but later sombody brought his 101 and I played with 2 keyboards. It was in the early 80 and we were a sansation.

Back when even the cheapest beginner keyboards were solidly made of wood and metal and had four or five octave, full size keyboards, and connectivity for line out, sustain, volume pedal, and more. Now you can spend $800 on a fully featured synth with near infinite sounds, but it will have 2 or maybe 3 octaves of small keys and feel like it’s plastic chassis will shatter if you sneeze near it.

Love it. Prog made me cackle. Great demo, some others on KZbin totally suck. These sounds through FX could be totally usable.

I made the video a long time ago, I don't remember what was in the memory was 11, or 14 is a timbre in the line of the clavs it was not the keyboard, but the timbre reminds I don’t follow much, he used Synclavier a lot

Gostava bastante de poder ter estes sons via MIDI, para poder programar músicas com eles. Infelizmente no tempo do CT-101 ainda não havia MIDI, e poucos anos depois quando passou a haver sintetizadores com MIDI os sons deles já eram mais 'sofisticados'. Será que não há nenhum sintetizador que tenha este carácter de '8 bits' e seja controlável?

Desses casios mais simples o primeiro que vi com MIDI foi o MT 540 e os outros “tone bank” como o ct 670 mas já é outro timbragem

Raridade mesmo, mas o peso não faço ideia, mas é leve, é de madeira, mas tem poucas placas interna, e por ser de maneira ainda não tinha chassi de metal como alguns de hoje, carrega de boa

I've the same keyboard, found it on a fleamarket for 10€, I did some repairs on it, but just the annoying things, it got a kind of hum on the Line out? Is is the same situation for you? Cheers
