i LOVE the rainbow wall actually !!!! it's tastefully muted and not an actual full rainbow so it has so much potential !!! i think the dark furniture did make it a bit jarring though 💔💔 like maybe white wouldn't be the best idea but something creamy taupey/pulling colors from the wall (AND THE FLOORS OMG THEY MATCH SO WELL !!!!) would be sooo whimsical and it'd make a nice low contrast space 😊 love u guys you're so much fun !!!!!

I think if you wanna make the wall work, you could have muted-colored furniture that reflects the colors of the wall. So, reference that dark purple, and have muted teal accessories, like on the upholstery while keeping every other hard-surface (like wood stuff + hardware) in a neutral color or familiar shades of wood. I think thee wall concept is really cool, but it`s hard to pull off for sure!

Another suggestion is: you can end the accent wall after the living room section by putting something like a post, or a raised wall thingy. That way it'll look less overwhelming than running it through the whole wall.

I love it! But I freakin love rainbows, so yeah. One of my suggestions would have been to take the hanging white lamps on the rainbow side, vary the sizes if possible, and stagger them so they look a bit like white clouds. I might have put one or two very small rainbows in the kitchen to compliment the wall. But that's me, and I think the end result is beautiful.

Just a suggestion re listening to audiobooks and doing things: I find I can only listen to books I've already read and love, so I don't have to concentrate on every word. It feels so comforting, like a warm hug while someone tells a familiar story. ✌🏻

I wish I could show how I did my home office. It's so pretty. I opened up the space between the garage and stairs for a dining area. I also opened up the unfinished room upstairs and made it bigger. Then made a patio there and made a workshop room under it beside the garage. Then made the bathroom bigger. My old room looks so sad hahaha

I like how it turned out, i am impressed how you made the wall work! personally i would turn the chairs and the doors and maybe even windows the same dark wood as the beams. also i hate the rug, would prefer something gray/dark one colour. As for the zebra hommage, ether screenshot the wallpaper and turn it into art or try something with big zebra stripe pattern, not the tiny zebras on yellow. And last but not least, put grandpas logging site picture next to him and something else on the opposite wall or fill all the frames with custom art as soon as you have it loaded in.

I actually like the rainbow wall. It's just mad hard to decorate. Maybe if you choose the exact same colours for the furniture as in the wall and not just colors close to it that would help tie it together. And the kitchen just does not fit at all😂 Maybe all black or whote with pastel accents would be better?

I don't really know why I like watching these two do anything together 😅I guess because me and my hubby met online playing video games and used to play games together and do stuff together more often. But when they were talking about "mom" not having Good style my hubby started watching this with me too and after the rainbow wall and everything he says idk why she was talking about the mom's style. I've seen you watching these videos of them doing this game and arts and crafts and her style is rainbows glitter and space cats! That's a style sure but it would be hard to argue a good style "😂😂😂😂 I cracked up because it's so true. I would not say bad style either but it does revolve around *childish* concepts but all neutral everything isn't a "good "style either no style is particularly good and is supposed to be more personalized and what most people would actually like and is considered good is based completely on trends only. In late 90s 2000s kitchens were filled with roosters 🐓 and chicken wire, in the 70s-80s bathrooms were popular in pink or green or blue everything including the actual tub and sink. 😅 everyone covered up real wood floors with linoleum and carpet even in bathrooms and that was in style and then that changed and everyone ripped it out and tried to paint wood floors white. Then they took paint off nd restored them or couldn't and replaced them. It's all about trends. Maybe zebras were popular in thus world... maybe rainbow and space cats are currently in the video game world 😅

Ngl, I hate the light floor choice, the only time I've seen that color was fake wood For the rainbow wall I'd have done: - The other walls light blue (>> would of also done the gradient in pain xD) - Dark wood floor - White furniture with dark wood accents - B&W photos - A few colored nick-knacks (like vases and pots) - And plants of course, hanging ones would be really nice Oh and maybe a chandelier (Also don't put lights by TVs, it'll wash the screen out)
