Demo of SABA Freiburg 7 Chassis After Realignment

This SABA Freiburg 7 chassis has been recapped, its selenium rectifier replaced with silicon rectifiers, two other rectifiers replaces, three tubes plus its EM71 eye tube replaced, switch contacts and controls cleaned, and the mechanical components cleaned and re-lubricated. Following this work, the chassis was realigned on all bands, and is now working well on both manual and automatic tuning. This video provides a brief demonstration of the chassis operating on shortwave, broadcast band (medium wave), and FM, using manual and automatic tuning and on the ferrite rod and external (active magloop) antennas. The chassis will be returned to its owner who has the cabinet and speakers.
