Too bad the Dems are almost as greedy as the repugnicans. They (Debbie WS and the super delegates) shunted Bernie off to the side in favor of smug Hillary. Most wanted BERNIE. People on both sides of the voting spectrum wanted change. The Dumbs went with Hillary. Gerrymandering and electoral nonsense handed tRump another stolen election, just like when the supreme joke stole it for Bush light. Here we are now, the Dumb's barely fighting back, again. They most I can seem to do is just never vote RED and keep voicing my opinion.

@DarkRoosterTHNАй бұрын
@@Kalvis1 Not at all, democracy is the will of majority. He wanted his and his fringe minority beliefs to win to call it a democracy, which is fundimentally wrong. On top of that Darkepix claimed he is sane, down to earth, which is not true since he supports workplace democracy. He also wants to implement a lot of good and nice sounding ideas without any way to pay for it, which would again increase government spending, countries debt and inflation. He wants more welfare while USA spends 1 trillion dollars per year on wellfare and in entire counties half the school kids are on welfare and subsequently drugs and no future prospects. USA is one of the biggest wellfare countries in the entire world, yet nothing is fixed and people are not happy, Bernie Sanders doesn't plan to change that, just always increase more welfare spending. How does any of that sound sane and down to earth? It would be down to earth if he ever provided real ways on how to implement and sustain his policies. He also claimed he is compassionate, sensible human being while he spends most of the video slandering his opposition Trump without ever backing up what he is saying. I mean even other youtubers would be judged more harshly than you judge your favorite politician for this. Worst thing about all of this is that he is a grifter, he will run, take a nice pay check and let Hillary and Biden take over. He doesn't stand for any of his values, he is in clear support for democrats and clear opposition to republicans. If he actually stood for this value and this all wasn't a grift, he would be opposing both democrats and republicans as neither of them are going to ever implement his policies. He never actually talked about policy implementation itself, how it would be done, what it would cost, what would be asked from every American, how would it work and sustain itself, because only thing he ever does is defacto definition of populism, and in that sense he is no better than Trumps populism. Only thing he has done last year is slander and campaign against Trump, it just makes him look petty. He is doing what is the most populistic approach and also what fully supports democratic candidates over himself. He doesn't care, he hasn't implemented a single change, he was never planning to win and actually get in power and do something, he grifts to attract enough normal people that agree with him just to stay a bit relevant, then he takes his millions and properties and gets off to live comfy.

Unfortunately, the democrats wouldn't have him. Now, instead of running as an independent he's created a new party (kind of). So, as it stands currently - it seems to me that a vote for RFK Jr is a vote thrown away and given to Biden or Trump. It sickens me. Sure, I have my doubts and concerns about RFK, but not an unfathomable fear for our country's future and the safety of our citizens if T or B win. Either way, I'm certain the electoral college won't have him either. There's still time to bypass the electoral college and go with the popular vote instead (the way it SHOULD BE) via petition. Actually, they love Bernie. He convinces people that voting makes a difference. F$#@ you Bernie and your "vote blue no matter who" bs, you already f***** us out of the alternative democracy that everyone donated to and supported you with their last nickels. As soon as you sold out to Biden for nothing, not a single f'ing concession, nothing. Don't get me wrong, I know the power's that be said if you actually exercise your power they would kill you, your family or something worse. At that point you could have said that you were retiring from politics because that you could not be effective and that you were threatened (you would at least have been honest and people would have understood that you couldn't sacrifice your family for the greater good ) BUT you didn't do that, you told us to vote for Biden knowing full well he was lying about all the things he was telling progressive voters while on the campaign trail and now you're doing the same. Still, that was the trade-off when you challenged power in the first place and inspired people with what they thought was the truth. You sacrificed the left and all of its momentum for the foreseeable future for your and your family's safety. You got your million dollar book deal, you're still relatively popular, your kids will be fine unlike the Palestinian babies dying of starvation. However, I'm quite sick of multi-millionaire democrats telling us that we have to support genocide Joe, so that we can save ourselves at the sacrifice of the Palestinians and everything else that matters is complete and total utter f****** b*******. I reiterate, f*** you. What the upper class wants is that we save them from Trump and his dirty working class hordes of people who know that the DNC sold them out to China and anyone else for a pennies. Had you come out recently and said that you will not support Biden unless he demands that Israel stops the genocide NOW or the Biden administration will 100% cut them off of ALL aid going forward. Also, that all weapons aid stops NOW f****** regardless of whether there's a ceasefire or not and that it will not return until an honest two-state solution is put forward by Israel. Anything short of that is tacit support for goddamn ethnic cleansing and the fact that you can sleep at night in your million dollar home while the people of Gaza and their children are murdered and starved to death by the person you are telling us is, "a good man" is rigodamndiculous. It's really hard to believe you have the f****** nerve to defend genocide Joe and the DNC after everything we've seen. I don't know what they have on you Bernie, but you sold your soul and the hope of an entire generation who came out for you. You will be remembered for that, your kids will live with it, we will all live with your complicity in genocide.* Except all the Palestinians who die as a result of your cowardess . Trump will win and you will be complicit because you supported the neoliberal policies of Biden that got Trump elected. You did this for nothing and without getting a goddamn thing in return for all the heart, effort, sacrifice of the people who supported you with money and time that they did not have to give. You lied to them and worst of all you gave them hope. Like I said, f*** you. The system works.

People hated a born again Christian for doing what he though was right, and they would have hated a Jewish socialist even more. If Bernie was the Democratic pick, liberals would have run a red scare campaign funded by every rich asshole on earth. It doesn't matter that he is reasonable and correct about everything, many boomers would have been scared into voting against who the media told them was the most authoritarian. He would have had an uphill battle, and while he could have won, he would have to work against his own party. Most Americans still value imperial power over democracy, free markets over free people, short term junk over long term health. As a lefty I criticise leftists because I feel we’re handing a win to fascists by being so pedantic about the small stuff. It’s time we concentrate more on common grievance and issues that unite us (economics, housing, health and job market), rather than bickering about all the ways each individual is unique and special. Do that stuff later once democracy is healthy. Always remember you can vote your way out of democracy but you can’t vote your way back in. Anyway… peace out folks. Xx

Yes. In hindsight though, he probably wouldn't have been able to get much passed. Republicans would stop him every step of the way, and plenty of democrats as well who wouldn't want their precious wealth tampered with. He was my ideal president in terms of character and what I wish the country could be, and I voted for him twice, but I've learned that if you can't negotiate with the other half of the country then there's not much you can get done, and it would only serve to anger the other side further.

I would ask further: not caring per se or not caring because there's nothing they can do about it. Our system is set up such that our daily concerns consume all our time (and whatever time left over is for ...consumption), so there isn't any time or energy left to _actionably_ care.

While I'm not sure how the US system works: in The Netherlands a vote not cast means the percentage required for a seat in government goes down. I will add that our voting system is not dependent on registering as a voter: being a registered citizen makes you get your voting pass from local government automatically. Everytime I see people in my country saying "I'm not going to vote, because I think the system doesn't work for me anyway" I immediately explain that they need to cast a blank vote and explain why that is (a blank vote keeps the percentage required for a seat up, but the blank vote means it won't benefit any party member).

As the Prime Minister was denied to be in the Dominican Republic, he first landed with his air plane/helicopter in Puerto Rico! Haiti sometimes has earthquakes!
