Ignoring the majority of the American public on this issue and at the same time sending billions of dollars and weapons to support the Israeli assault on Gaza, is in my mind at least, taxation without representation. Pretty sure we fought a war over that in the past. Yet here we are again with the elite, might as well be called royalty, of our nation deciding policy, not on what We the People are demanding.

I am a 65-year old woman with a PhD in Pol Sc. I am secular--of Hindu and Panjabi origin. As Rep Ro Khanna knows, those of our families who suffered partition know and understand displacement and the ravages of poor British policy in the 1940s. Still, my family taught us to remain secular and follow the path of Nehru and Gandhi. Unfortunately, the Hindu supremacists are gaining ground and Blinken is hugging FM Jaishankar close as 200 million Muslims and other Indian minorities are under threat. I was always against the Zionist occupation since I was a young student. I was against the holocaust. But the victim has no justification to victimize. My father required me to reach the Diary of Ann Frank when I was 8. In school, I studied Merchant of Venice and Shylock's speech. Netanyahu is doing what Shylock said he would do but he is doing it with the wrong people!!! Mr Biden made a big mistake to justify revenge and to say he was a Zionist. So are Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and so many others betraying their true beliefs and prejudices. They should think before they speak!! Why are they so afraid of AIPAC?

But if the war be not just, then all the severed arms and legs, the cries of widows, the children left without fathers, be on the head of the King. We don't have a King. It's upon our heads, American citizens whose government is contributing weapons and money to Israel, despite its continuing genocide, and our taxes are buying dumb bombs dropped on hospitals, schools, and residential skyscrapers. It looks like Biden & Blinken are bought and sold. How could our representative at the UN vote against a ceasefire? Why didn't she resign?

The people are made into clowns by the politics, living a harsh life and barely being able to make ends meet, while all the taxpayer money goes to support rich people's interests, against the citizens will. @@MahkyVmedia1 It's the job of the candidate to earn someones vote. If Biden or any other candidate doesn't do anything to earn someones vote that's on them not the voter. Currently over half of voters don't even vote, when they're asked they say it's because they don't support the Democratic or Republican candidates. Also polls show most voters of Dems and Repubs don't support them either but just believe in the lesser evil voting. So therefore if the majority of people who don't actually support Dems or Repubs just shook off the indoctrination they've been subjected to all their lives, and voted for someone else, the Democratic and Republican parties would go the way of the Wigs and other former political parties. Also why are you making excuses for a genocide supporter? Is it just because Biden has a 'D' next to his name? I suspect if Biden was the exact same person with the exact same policies but had a 'R' next to his name you'd be furious at anyone who voted for him or didn't vote for the establishment approved candidate running against him. I don't believe you even care about the candidate, you just care about what party they're a member of, which is exactly why the two party system needs to be voted against.
