The indigenous people of South Africa are the Khoi San. Every other person, be they black, brown or white living in South Africa today is a settler. Today still, the Zulu and Xhosa people have kings with tribal lands allocated within South Africa. White people are not privileged enough to have a king of their own. What can be said of South Africa is it didn't kill off their indigenous people, unlike other countries. All settlers are descendants of people who disempowered the original indigenous people.
