Biden does Not want to have to make a call like that, he has actual plans to try and curb and control the pandemic first without such a drastic step. However, that is all based on the BEHAVIOURS of the citizenry. With tRumps base not only ignoring but pretending the virus isn’t real, not masking, not protecting our communities, all because they live by the same principle “It’s all about ME” and so they spread the disease (I have no symptoms, I’m not sick” pass! Pass! Pass around COVID) and so many die. Soon the biggest job growth market will be in the funeral business.

We definitely need recovery. In keeping with the idea of American recovery, I should share an opinion about our flag, even if some people may think it off topic. The fact is, the info is as relevant as ever. First of all, I should say that I am not racist, nor am I anti semitic. I know that we are a nation comprised of many races, who came from many different nation's. For that reason, though we are American, many of us also have pride in our mixed heritage. To have pride in our mixed heritage is part of what it is to be an American. As Americans, we are united under one flag, that is the Union Flag, our Stars and Stripes. We should proudly fly our flag in the proper ways. There are actually right and wrong ways to fly our flag. A correct way to hang it on a wall. A correct way to present it in representation near other flags. Reasons why we fly at full or half mast. We are not even supposed to wear it as a garment out of reverence. Some of these facts, some people know, and some don't. But our flag should be flown, revered, and presented in the correct manner at all times. I am an American, I have mixed heritage. I am Irish and Scottish on my father's side and I am Korean on my mother's side. I could therefore take pride in the flag of three other countries, but our American Union Flag is my main flag. If I were to fly the flags of those three countries along with my American flag, there are rules as to how they should be flown. Flags represent the pride of a nation, and they all have meanings. They can be presented in a prideful way, but in truth, they are also used for war. They are war banners. This is something many people are likely unaware of, but that is the other purpose flags have. It is not really a big deal if there is some sort of heritage event, and during that event, flags of the nation are flown and waved. That would just be a celebration of heritage. But what we should be aware of, is the fact that in times of invasion, the invading nation will fly their flag. As we have also done during times of war. This is America, and this is our land. We should be mindful, or aware of the way flags can be presented. We should take offence, or be worried at the minimum, or even bring to the attention of authorities if we happen to witness the flags of other nations or organizations being flown in high numbers without reason for celebration. Such is blatent sign of disrespect, and could be representative of an invasion, or precursor to an invasion. This is the view we should have of any flag that is not our Union Flag. Doing such is either against the law, or should be, as it is a form of treason if you are an American or not. I should ask this question of us all. How do we think any other nation would view a large group of us going to their nation flying our Union Flag? What if we went anywhere else in the world and did that proclaiming pride in our Nation without pre authorized clearance from their government? What if we did so in front of their places of government office? Doing so would be a blatant act of war. These acts should be viewed in our Nation the same way if I were speaking of any other flag other than our Union Flag. What if we were to go to another nation and had them fly our flag over their own? Or replaced their flag with our own? That is a sign of Victory for our nation, or a sign their nation has been conquered. I think we should be much more aware of the purpose of flags, and the way they are flown, or for which reasons they are flown. Our flag, the Union Flag, should not be taken lightly.

When you think about racial equality and civil rights, which political party comes to mind? The Republicans? Or, the Democrats? Most people would probably say the Democrats. But this answer is incorrect. Since its founding in 1829, the Democratic Party has fought against every major civil rights initiative, and has a long history of discrimination. The Democratic Party defended slavery, started the Civil War, opposed Reconstruction, founded the Ku Klux Klan, imposed segregation, perpetrated lynchings, and fought against the civil rights acts of the 1950s and 1960s. In contrast, the Republican Party was founded in 1854 as an anti-slavery party. Its mission was to stop the spread of slavery into the new western territories with the aim of abolishing it entirely. This effort, however, was dealt a major blow by the Supreme Court. In the 1857 case Dred Scott v. Sandford, the court ruled that slaves aren’t citizens; they’re property. The seven justices who voted in favor of slavery? All Democrats. The two justices who dissented? Both Republicans. The slavery question was, of course, ultimately resolved by a bloody civil war. The commander-in-chief during that war was the first Republican President, Abraham Lincoln - the man who freed the slaves. Six days after the Confederate army surrendered, John Wilkes Booth, a Democrat, assassinated President Lincoln. Lincoln’s vice president, a Democrat named Andrew Johnson, assumed the presidency. The Democrats did not elect a black man to Congress until 1935. But after Reconstruction ended, when the federal troops went home, Democrats roared back into power in the South. They quickly reestablished white supremacy across the region with measures like black codes - laws that restricted the ability of blacks to own property and run businesses. And they imposed poll taxes and literacy tests, used to subvert the black citizen’s right to vote. And how was all of this enforced? By terror -- much of it instigated by the Ku Klux Klan, founded by a Democrat, Nathan Bedford Forrest. Bernie is a Democratic socialist. They by their own admission operate with the purpose of subverting the USA constitution. In so doing, they forfeit any and all rights, freedoms and legal protections afforded them by said constitution. That includes matters related to public office. If they like socialism and communism so much, let them go to China or Cuba or North Korea. The capitalist system in America is nowhere near perfect, but at least it has never needed walls and barbed wire to keep its people in.
