"Terraria has been way too addicting" can confirm i got over 1400 hours on it. Btw if you're tired of traps like boulders use the special seed "no traps" and it will totally give you a world with NO traps at all :)

The best way to locate traps early enough is to use dangersense potion, which is easy to craft, or hold an item from your inventory that might be used as a trap, so every connected wire is shown

Entering a shatters on HPE is pretty much death :/ I think you should be able to quit after a boss in shatters if you go in with the explicit intention to your chat that you will do only up to a certain boss before nexusing (affer beating that boss ofc).

sadly it's very hard to find public o3s, some streamers might do them and you might be able to just find some by seeing if there are a bunch of stacked players in the realm and potentially asking around, but your best bet would sadly have be joining discords, there are some that have reqless and vc-less runs

Hey seb, have you ever considered playing rotmg with controller? Would make for a fun challenge to see how your skill transfers to a different set of controls, though it takes some getting used to of course I have recently made a DualSense controller layout for RotMG for myself and i also uploaded it on the steam community layouts. For realm being a mouse+keyboard only game, i think the controller layout works pretty well, though looting and tp'ing to other players is unneccesarily hard. If you have a different controller, id be happy to help you setup the binds :)

watching someone play a game with no knowledge and you have a lot of it is pretty painful sometimes, and with you doing only hardcore characters its even more so. you will have a very hard time progressing at your rate. beating the game might even take a whole year.

Its extremely stressful and you are risking everything you have and did on the world. Its not beacuse im bad, cause i hardly ever die on bossfights and in general, even though i usually play on expert/master, its because i love chill and relaxing gameplay with a bit of a challange. This game is so fun and i fully enjoy it while playing freely whithout a thoughts in my head that i can loose everything anytime. :)
