One of the greatest pinball games ever when working in mint condition and with the back legs a few millimeters higher for more speed and higher skill requirements. The timing of functions sounds, music and voice-overs were made extremely well. The hand grips are physically better for accuracy than standard side buttons when you master them - this is because the angle of your hand upon hitting the button on hand grip is in a more natural position, opposed to having to place hands on a machine and then angle fingers down and press in at the same time which is not as natural in our instinctive use of motor functions. The reason people don't adjust well to the hand grip is due to years of playing traditional style side buttons on all other pinball games, but if you play this game for hundreds of hours (and play nothing else) and adjust your game to the hand grips, you will notice a physical difference in accuracy/timing of shots and play better than you ever imagined. Also, the multiple lane options (like most Williams games) are made elegantly with no dead space on the playing board, where even some of the best other pinball games (Williams, or other brands) have some flaws where a square inch here or there of dead space exists or where there may be a lack of uniformity in design in certain areas, whereas this one was made well symmetrically for playability and in overall design.

and its reasonably priced AND I even like the movie! Good review, helped convince me to make it my first pin.

I got my only legit on-the-board high score on this machine. It was in a pub in a small Somerset town so probably not a really huge high score by any real stretch, but I've always loved this machine since and been proud that... at least for a little while when it moved on to the next pub, my name was 8th on the list.

Looks like you kept it going just fine for the most part. I didn't see over the top sdtm shots more so than any other pin.I will be picking up a powder coated chromed version with custom leds soon.

Had to handle a bunch of the wooden playfields for this particular game while liquidating a (poorly-organized) pinball parts vendor storage building. Figured I'd see the full machine in action. Never seen much of demolition man but it was nice to get some closure after having to wedge cardboard around about 15 of this game's playfields.

here is a little tip about those unwanted times to drain here is what i do if i do not want to drain at the center of the playfield nudge the machine in either direction left or right does not matter the idea is that this will align the ball to either flipper. basically in a nutshell it means not draining when you don't want to. keep in mind of the tilts.

Hi Larry, I keep thinking I am going to like it but it is never long before it goes, this must be my 6th or so. I like the handles but can't play as well as using the buttons! Current keeper pins are TAFG, MM, CV, IJ, TZ, RFM, W?D, FS, RBION (and a really nice Shadow I am picking up next week). Others that will go at some point are ST25th, DM, FH, and LOTR. Cheers mate, Matt.

Great pin and a well played game to boot. But I was curious about why you never took any of the Secret Jackpots during Multiballs?

hi. Nice video. What kind of software version do you have? you should try to get the home-6A version with vulgar speech. it makes this game even more fun. you can take a look at my gameplay vid. but i'm doing a new one later cause i hate spitting my videos in two parts. Also you didn't collect any secrets. don't you care about collecting them or do you not know them?

You must have an opto problem, you're not supposed to get that many balls on your first multiball. You do have a credit dot, so perhaps that's the problem. I love this game. I know people don't like the theme, but that's one of the things I DO like about it, among everything else. Great flow on this game.

Believe it or not, I played the shit out that and I finally achieved grand master in the particular machine with well over 4 billion points. I worked at the arcade and remember watching the previous champion walk up to the machine and proudly watch his initials show up on the grand champion display. When it it showed him as #1, which was runner up he looked around himself and put his head down and never caught me. Exhilarama in Houston, tx. KLG, grand champion.

I'm with you. This game has slow action, heavily weighted game play to the right side, and monotonous mini-games. Unfair drops left right and center.
