If I remember right, the entire thing with the Toilet Sea Shells was an injoke among the filming crew when they were staying at a hotel. Every room had three such decorative sea shells that did nothing in the toilet and someone asked why exactly are they even there. Then someone else remembered seeing those in some other hotel. It all snowballed into adding them into the movie for shits and giggles. Sadly I can't give the exact sourse, I only remember that I read the interview in some airline company's magazine during a long flight and that info somehow stuck with me.

I always assumed that the "Three Seashells" was a frontpanel to an overly elaborate mechanical system that managed to clean your rectum in a very advanced and efficient way. They just look so machine-like with their silvery tinge and they look almost built in to the wall. Not once did I ever believe that they were actual seashells. XD

In the Australian version its still Taco Bell that won the franchise wars (not Pizza Hut) even though we dont have Taco Bell over here and back in the 90's Pizza Hut was stupid popular.

DeAno Jackson- The same, here. I don't give a flying rip what the critics say about this film, otherwise...

@@tthomaselli2 actually critics are very positive towards the movie nowadays. it seems they were harsher on it back in the days.

I am rewatching this in September of 2020 and I can not express how disappointed I am that every time I give someone a "mellow greetings" they just kind of stare at me blankly.

As a UK resident I’ve only ever seen this movie with Taco Bell in it and was unaware that there was an edit with Pizza Hut subbed in.

I Like the moral of the story in the end. The dirty Boys get a little cleaner and the Clean Guys got to be a little more dirty so we have normal people again. Not extreme lefts and extreme rights. Thats what the world of today needs.
