The most fun I have with the Arena War update is by driving my cars around outside the arena. Inside it'll be boring for me until I can modify some of the race/game types. When there's a Vehicles VS Runners (on foot) you'll know I've gotten my way.

Speirs the monster truck is one of the best vehicles for destroying others. Take the front ram weapons off so you can drive on people and they will die instantly because it is so heavy.
