I remember back in the day, me and my friend rented this from a blockbuster and played terrorist hunt long into the night for the whole weekend until I had to go home Sunday afternoon. But then we rented it again the next weekend and the weekend after that. Finally he was able to buy it later. But man we had a blast playing Vegas 1 and 2. I love this game, I was really hoping siege would follow suit when it was announced, but we all know how that turned out.

@masoiaXL I left the scope on the G3 simply because that's what I normally use. I could have used a recoil stock or laser on the MG36, but if you tap the trigger to use it more like a semi-auto it's actually pretty accurate, and I find the rifle scope cleaner than the stock sights. Especially waiting at the top of the stairs, I prefer to have the zoom of the scope to get better detail on the terrorists coming up.

@daraofp Also at 6:34 where I throw a smoke grenade under the stairs, because one always seems to spawn there. Throwing a frag grenade from this distance is useless, as he doesn't spawn until you get close, and since he usually comes round the corner before he makes any sound he just kills you straight off. I don't usually use smokes at all in co-op, but for solo hunts they can be pretty useful when you know terrorists will spawn and you want to make sure you get the first shots off.

@daraofp That's why I decided I'd just keep the video as it is, because apart from a few areas, Murdertown keeps you looking in so many directions that it's pretty easy to get killed. It would have taken me several more tries to produce videos as interesting as some of the others I have seen on here because of that.

@daraofp In regards to spawning though, I haven't yet encountered any enemies spawning right behind me, which happened in the first Rainbow Six Vegas in a few places. I agree it's still annoying, but especially if you're playing solo you can get used to where they might spawn, and usually cover yourself to take them out. One instance here is at 5:12, where you'll see me enter the door facing to the left, which is because in earlier attempts I found one spawned there.

Yep, I agree, R6V2 is not a terribly difficult game. Now in co-op I tend to use a bolt-action sniper to make it harder, but even then I can use hit-and-run tactics and not die too much, and camping up with it would be even easier. Still, co-op is probably the most challenging way to play it, especially if you split up, as you can't tell when and where they'll spawn so easily, as it's affected by the other players.

I'm the same though, I can't do much good on MW2. With CoD4 I was still okay, as when I started off I did use the run-around-with-sub-machine-gun tactic, but it didn't take long for everyone else to catch up with that, and the perks and upgrades have even more effect in MW2, so the people that have played the most tend to have the greatest advantage. You'd expect that anyway in most games, but it's not a great game to walk into well into its shelf life.

Whilst I do have 3GB, I don't think memory is as much of an issue as you'd expect, providing you exceed the requirements of the game you're recording. Particularly important is a relatively capable hard disk, as you're writing a large amount of data in a small amount of time.

A big plus is that it has lots of missions in campaign, in most modern games campaigns last a few hours. the graphic is great, but somehow the gameplay was more challenging in old RS. Would love the remake of old ones with this graphic and physics :P

Agreed, it's rather too predictable, as demonstrated in this video, and in my previous one. These days I usually play co-op if at all, as that way other players may spawn batches when you're not expecting it (especially if you have a team full of players diving straight in), but even then it tends not to be particularly difficult.

I LOVE Rainbow Six but what I hated in Vegas series was the enemy spawns in bunches. You need to get to a certain area to trigger the next batch of 7-8 and then run back to your safe spot and wait for them to just blindly get to you and rinse and repeat. Like in original rainbow's they should've had all tango's spawn at same time. Tactics is lost now in this Vegas series. Hopefully Patriot will get back to the roots.

I mean in a sense of less tactic more shootout...RS Athena Sword and Raven Shield were awesome. Firefight lasted 1-2 sec, not like in vegas (more like holiwood shootout) and if you get shot by one bullet you were limping or dead, not like in RSLV where like in Cod your health just restores after few sec! In old RS it was more realistic, you had to be more careful, not like here where you take cover on the wall and can see the enemy from third person and the enemy cant see you!

I stopped playing MW2 because I got my ass kicked but nothing in Rainbow Six has ever posed a problem. Both are nice, though. The CoD series occasionally has awesome multiplayer. That is its major selling point.

F Les If you've ever played with the MG36 before, you'll probably have realised that its standard scope has quite a restrictive view, so unless you put the recoil-control stock on and fire from the hip all the time at close range, it's more effective to use a rifle scope.The scopes can be even more useful on other LMGs such as the MK46, as they have more power and range than the MG36, so when fired in short bursts they are relatively effective at long range. Couple that with their already impressive ability to suppress at close range and they're very useful weapons to have, especially when joining laggy hosts where slower, more precise weapons can be difficult to use.

F Les LMG are OP in this game, I stopped using them because they make the game too easy. They have crazy good first round accuracy, but if that fails short bursts can take out anyone at most ranges. Scopes are understandable. TBH I remember using hip fire a lot on the LMG too with great success, though I havn't played in over a year so I can't be sure. I think I got to 40 something elite before getting bored lol.

For me CoD multiplayer went down hill from CoD2. CoD2 is quite a good team game, as the pace is relatively slow (there's no sprint), and even the weapons with a fast fire rate take several hits to kill. You can still run around with sub machine-guns, but it's far less effective than it is on the newer CoD games.

CoD went from underrated to overrated across pretty much one game. For all CoD2 did have a few issues as a truly competitive game at the time, even at its peak it wasn't massively popular. Then when CoD4 came along, you got a lot of CoD players crossing over, and CS drop outs. Plus it became more appealing to more casual gamers as everyone had a chance of killing. Now I'm just bored of it. I haven't even got MW3, and if I ever do it'll be a few years time when it's cheap, just for the campaign.

Kevin Millward With a few capable players in a co-op game, every map (high density) should be done in under five minutes no trouble (Calypso Casino being the hardest, but that can be done as per my latest video). Mudertown (realistic, high density) in under five minutes solo, however, would be impressive. I don't recall ever seeing it done. Perhaps I'll try it sometime.
