I like a lot of what ive seen of the adatation, but I feel like Blackheart's character is really different from the comic. His more scientific and organised crime with a moral code behind it in contrast to the violent, bloody chaos nimona brought into the picture was what made their dynamic so fun, but he seems much more nervous and comedically goofy here. It could still be really good if they keep some serious elements in, but I'm still not sure about the more kid friendly direction they're going for considering how dark the book got near the ending. Edit: watched the movie! I still prefer the graphic novel's plot, but the movie was awesome and I'd definitely watch it again :)

To be fair he clearly didn’t want to, and was starting to look at gold armor. I don’t know anything about the movie, but he looks like a guy they don’t want their target to run too. Also since he was gonna try and get someone else to do it for him that’s more attention, so might as well go full kidnap gremlin. Ballister's turn to look at Nimona at the end nagged at me until I watched it again. "Family Guy Death Pose" has nothing on the fact the animators went for the Three Stooges on the head turn. "NIAGARA FALLS! Slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch..." I never heard of Nimona before, but damn, this looks incredible.

The digital like Watercolor, but also very realistic material reflections/textures blend nicely, and what seems to me, a slight Rotoscoping feel flows very, very well. I'm not sure of the story, but what I saw wasn't bad, and good enough to actually want to watch. Good Job! I'll watch it when I can.
