Would you play it for 7? I wouldn't. I would put in more cheaper card draw, because if you don't outcast Skull of Guldan it's 6 mana draw 3 cards, which nobody plays like Nourish. Skull of Guldan rewards you for positioning your cards in the right order and having deck full of playable cards you can manipulate your hand more easily, which Demon Hunter is very efficient at, but it means it has little of actual value and removals at it's disposal since you need to have most card proactive and not reactive. Multiple times I struggled to remove cards like Chaos Nova from my most left side of hand, because I was ahead on the board and I couldn't play it to get the Outcast value of other cards. The aggro version loses to Control Warrior and Control Priest, because the value of the cards themselves is very low, but they cycle fast. Like your entire early game minions is in range of 2 HP with no buffs, so it can be dealt with if you have the right tools. Mid-range with Priestess of Fury etc. is a problem I'm not denying that, maybe it should deal 6 randomly split among all minions so it's very bad when played on empty board, but powerful if your opponent tries to contest it, which is how the card should have worked in the first place. Combo Demon Hunter is beaten by aggro, Taunts and life gain. It will never deal 30 damage in a turn so just keep your health total at 30, keep putting pressure on the board so you don't lose HP to minions, play Taunts so he can't use hero power every turn to deal that 1 extra damage. In late-game just focus on staying at 30 HP with backup healing in form of Zephrys or something and you should win most games against that. Or just beat it down while it draws through the deck. The thing I noticed is lack of control tools and answers to your board from hand, so just play around Chaos Nova, play minions with 5 HP and higher and he will struggle removing them and eventually die to your aggression. Ironically Demon Hunter has tons of aggressive tools for beating that archetype easily.

Skull of Gul’dan - Mana cost increased from 5 to 6. Imprisoned Antaen - Mana cost increased from 5 to 6. Eye Beam - Outcast Mana cost increased from 0 to 1. Aldrachi Warblades - Durability decreased from 3 to 2. Nerfs will only show up while in-game for the time being. The changes will show in collection soon. You can still dust the effected cards for full value but eye beam is an initiate set card so it can't be dusted even though its epic.

Is it just me or does this not do much? Skull is 1 turn later whatever, still doesn't matter if you use it with Kael, eye beam is 1 mana instead of 0 which is again not that important. Warblades durability down just means you can't be as liberal with your swings, but as we've seen you don't need all 6 charges usually.

From what I've seen the durability on the warblades being lower is the most impactful change for this deck. that 1 extra durability is quite useful especially against aggro. As they mention in the video, Zalae didn't include even a really good lifesteal taunt guy cause warblades was enough but that might not be the case anymore

I absolutely *love* this deck, the finisher combo is better than the 20 dmg burst of the PO+Leroy+Faceless finisher from back in the day, 22 dmg from 2x Inner demon + 2x Twin Slice on the weapon. And because Blizz has been killing every other big bust combo you can really get greedy with the clears and even if you dont completely finish them, you’ve basically full healed. I actually swapped the “discover a perfect card” guy for Auctioneer, just because I’m a greedy bastard who isn’t playing in Legend.

Two words are enough to destroy every single DH: sacrificial pact. The hard part is knowing how to play with 2 dead cards against other classes unless you kill one of your own imps for 5 hp, which isn't the worst but it's still kind of bad.

@@thawab111 I've had fun playing a new ramp dragon buff druid, and also a sort of hand warlock. I'm not legend rank or anything, but I did recently get into platinum. Warlock is powerful if only because of the zero mana spell that kills a demon and heals you for 5. Just bear in mind the removal you usually need for their early game, that one drop is too good but somehow they aren't nerfing it.
