I personally listen to metal music for the instrumental aspect, but when my mom was stereotyping all metal as satanic I had to show her the Christian because you can’t just stereotype a whole genre, and then when she says it’s her opinion, no an opinion is I don’t like this because of the sound not oh metal is all satanic. So I showed her my Christian metal without saying it was Christian and she was saying how it’s shit because it’s satanic which proves she isn’t even listening and she was shocked when I said it’s Christian
