Akaza then became a street thug and got beaten by a master. The master took him home and decided to teach him, asked him to take care of his daughter. She was also sick and her mother commited suicide becuz she didn't want to see her daughter die. She always said sorry to Akaza that he have to take care of her all the times, he promised that when she is not sick anymore, he will take her to watch fireworks. After years, they both had a crush on each other and she started to recover. The master asked them to marry each other and both was crying in tear of joy. He then visited his father's grave, said everything that how he appreciate his life. When he came back, the whole class was in panic and sorrow. The master's opponent poisined the well. Both Akaza's master and wife died. Akaza couldn't finish his promise. He then fucked up that bastard and his apprentices by crushing them with his fists so terrefying that the woman who witnessed that incident went crazy. Even the police refused to belive a human created that massacare. After a while, he met Muzan and gave up being a human becuz every one he loved is no more

WARNING SPOILER: Akaza's one of the best demons in the show. He goes against everything that happened to him: firstly, he asked rengoku for his permission to turn him into a demon. Muzan didn't ask him. He was just lost without his memories though for some reason, he chose not to lay a finger on any women despite not knowing and his love and respect for his fianceé was still there. Definitely one of the saddest backgrounds before Rui's.

Yeah,, his memories mightve been fuzzy at this point, but after his backstory, we know why akaza was so determined to turn rengoku: he respected him from one fighter to another. His memories might be fuzzy but his emotions n atitude is still there. He was annoyed at tanjiro at first, but akaza respected him too during their second bout since tanjiro grew so much.

Akaza (Upper Moon 3) doesn't like dealing with the other demons, specifically Upper Moon 2, whose name is Doma. This is because Doma became a demon after Akaza, but rose through the ranks and surpassed him in a short time. A reason for this is because Akaza refuses to kill females (if you'd like I can explain that too). Akaza isn't strong enough to challenge Doma to a blood fight to replace him and Doma teases him for this. Doma's personality is also pretty annoying, it's like he wants to be friends with everyone, but the way he acts is like he's a very "fake friend". That really annoys both me and Akaza.

I'm in love with these characters. Both rengoku and akaza. Rengoku was having a screen time of 25 to 30 minutes for most in this 2 hours movie. And he left everyone in tears by the end of it. And still people say demon slayer has badly written characters and story. I didn't cry when shasha or any character died in attack on Titan. Specially shasha...she got waayyyy more screen time and backstory than rengoku. Both are side characters..and there are countless examples. Demon slayer has amazing writing. Just cause a subject is not as complex as mathematics or physics...it doesn't mean literature, languages, history, geography are any less fascinating or lovable. 🤟🔥
