True, being the infinity castle they could just trap them there for eternity. They could maybe last for a couple days killing rank and file demons. But the infinity castle is like a different dimension where all other infinity castle entry points are located (phyiscally), inside the network, millions upon millions of demons all over Japan gathers there. Just Sanemi adn Iguro alone getting trapped there would mean a slow death if not instant. They were even lucky since the other upper moons and Muzan are not there at the moment.

@@dinglemccringleberry9019 At that time Muzan had the UM busy looking for the DS HQ. It's lucky that Nakime didn't realize her opportunity to trap and get rid of 2 Pillars. I think Muzan would've been extremely pissed about this actually and as usual punish his minions for incompetence in the normal brutal way. Obviously he won't blame Nakime cuz she's a big asset but that random demon? Who incidentally exposed the existence of the Infinity Castle? Yeah he dead.

You know what's really incredible to see? It's something that proves Gotouge's simple but effective type of writing and how Ufotable has been doing such a good excellent job of enhancing the source material not just through animation but adding more useful and appropriate amount of "filler". It's everyone's reaction to the potential danger Sanemi and Obanai were in the moment they almost jumped into the Infinity Castle. That's how you know that the story has stakes established really well. It's very elating to see. EDIT: Not a single one of them thought "nah they'll be fine" or "Good riddance". They barely know these two characters aside from their "asshole" moments and yet they were worried for these two!

I notice that Re:animated (top left) always has bad reactions to Shinobu. And it's not just her, but to every female characters who are capable but doesn't sexualize themselves. They downplay Shinobu's role whenever she makes an appearance. One example: "Oh now he's not gonna respond to that" when one guy said about Shinobu asking Giyuu. And another example was in S1 reaction where Shinobu's the main focus of the episode, they put Giyuu on the thumbnail instead and changed the title to be more Giyuu-focused.
