Yo can we just appreciate how they beautifully replicated some of the original animation frames from the episode in the show??? If u play the video at 0.25 speed and try to keep pausing from 16:50 to 16:51, you'll catch the frame where Tanjiro and Rui are in red and tanjiro's swing from his blade creates a bursting yellow shockwave. It's legit one of the animation frames straight from the show which only lasted a split second in the original episode. U won't even catch it unless ur pausing at split seconds to catch all the details, so just that alone says a lot about the effort put into making the game. They actually did justice to the show by going all the way to the finest details and animation so that the game truly feels and plays out like the show did, not just some cheap knockoff with "Demon Slayer videogame" slapped on to it. Respect.

@@catastrofyy well yeah it’s still 3D trying to imitate 2D. It’ll never reach the same heights due to the lack of freedom that comes with working with strict, rigged models. It can get even closer if you put in the same effort ArcSys does, but at that point just do 2D for the cutscenes.

But it does not "look as good as the show" you have to be blind or stupid to think that. At the very least you don't appreciate the art of animation. Possess zero critical eye whatsoever. Like, there are people who like cartoons. And there are people who appreciate the art of animation. Its a Subtle difference. But if you are sitting there saying this scene "looks as good as the show" you are the former. an easily distracted and complacent child who cant see past bright colors, emotional music, and bombast. There is alot I would praise this scene from the game for. But saying its just as good as the show is lazy and stupid.

Note: To new viewers, this game is pretty hard, and the combos are also hard. Game mechanics are cool, but STILL hard to memorize. Online multiplayer is hell. If you want, buy skins. In online multiplayer, you can play as demons, although they’re hard to play with, they are op if you memorize the combos. If you play without a controller, hell bro you gotta spam 8 keys to do one move. Play with a playstation controller. It’s easier.
