Would prefer to see an Asian cast. MacKenyu Arata as Giyu Tomioka! MacKenyu is handsome, charismatic and well-known actor in Japan. He plays brooding and introvert very well as you can see him as Zoro in ONE PIECE. Giyu is a fan favorite, he needs the best actor. 😊

I feel like they should choose not famous actors and actress's but good for the part and voice. It would also be cool to have similar voices to the characters too. It's not about the fame of the cast members, its about the quality. All demon slayer fans have high hopes for the movie/show live adaptation but, I think personally that they should choose actors who fit the characters as I've seen these actors before, some don't seem to fit their guessed or chosen parts. I for one, would like to see some Japanese actors and actresses, since that is where is was originally formed, and based off of. I don't think I could see Dove play Tamayo or List play Daki. Also, we are missing a few characters such as Kaigaku who fills in for upper 6 after they are killed. I would love to see some actors who can express the true colors of these people.

Why is the cast all white? I don’t care if it is Hollywood or Disney supposedly making a live action of Demon Slayer, they wouldn’t get most of Japan’s cultural elements right (just like they did with Mulan) since Demon Slayer is based off of Japan’s urban legends and also Japanese culture itself. I don’t really care if Hollywood will do Attack on Titan live action because the characters are WHITE/European, in which they won’t screw up in because it is set in Germany.

@@FANCASTMANIA with all due respect, I just do not like the cast put in there because of the fact they are white and probably not educated about Japanese tales. Japanese Spider man is different than this because of the fact that Demon Slayer’s story is based off of Japanese traditional culture (oni’s, geisha/oirans, Daki being described as one of the mythical creatures in season 2, etc). And also about the cosplayers, that is cosplay- not live action, I am Black and East Asian and I cosplay Lady Tamayo and Mitsuri in real life- so I understand what you mean by cosplays and different ethnicities (well- they have to cosplay traditional setting type anime right to not disrespect kimono). I just don’t want Demon Slayer to be whitewashed for an actual film since like I said a Hollywood nor Disney would not get it right. But I understand that this is just for fun- mainly just wanted to point stuff out.
