Demon slayer is probably the first anime where I’ve cried more than once. Rengoku was that type of character that you meet and you start to like him very quickly. That’s why I think his passing was so hard for all of us to witness. His screen time was short but he left a big impact.

It's quite the opposite- it isn't normal for the upper ranks demon to fall, as stated in the movie, they have killed many hashiras and have been in the upper ranks for centuries, which means the current 6 upper demons went undefeated for that long. so it is quite normal for the hashiras to fall to upper rank demons. none of the hashiras in the show have ever faced an upper rank demon. rengoku was the first one.

I saw this movie in theaters, I was bawling at Tanjiro's brother calling out to him, and I was a mess when Rengoku died. It's amazing, we know Rengoku for such a short time, and already we grew SO attached to him. Makes me think of another character, Kamina, from Gurren Lagann.

A reason why rengoku speaks so lound its because he is a bit deaf, not totally as we see he can hear things pretty well, but since his hearing is not thay good, he always talk loud

There was a Rengoku centric Prequel episode that wasn't included in the Mugen Train Movie; its a nice episode and lets you spend more time with the greatest Flame Hashira before he stepped aboard the Mugen Train.

Remember that Akaza was playing with Rengoku, trying to recruit him. The one attack he meant to use as a killing blow he landed. There is a moment earlier in the fight where he dashes forward but doesn't throw a punch. (Right before he grazes Rengoku's head for the first damage.) Rengoku's *wide* open and it takes him a full second to respond to Akaza's "feint."

Lol these analysis is stupid , there are many instances where rengoku could have done something to kill him also . The thing is , demon dont recruit people just by asking them and taking their presence. If Akaza had power then he should be able to destory Rengoku's legs and arms , and take him to muzan to turn him . But he couldnt , heck Rengoku's arm strength was far greater than his arm. I dont think the face he made in the end is of someone who was toying . You can say , Rui was also toying with them , we havent seen him using all his attacks because Giyu killed him fast .

Even after tanjiro entered the yorichis state, he couldn't kill akaza. Giyu is stronger than rengoku even without mark. So just imagine the level diff. Akaza could have ended the fight in mere seconds. But he tried so hard to convince him. He didn't want to break rengokus leg and take him and force him to become a demon coz he became one like that too. Akaza won't even kill children or women. He values strength. HE HAS THE BEST BACKSTORY AND HE IS THE BEST EVER CHARACTER IN demon slayer. Akaza must have used less than 30 percent of his full strength here except when his hand got stuck in rengoku.

Enmu's backstory is fuzzy and doesn't have a lot of detail but what we do know from the creator of the manga is that growing up, Enmu could never tell the difference between his dreams and reality. It's theorized that because of this, child Enmu was influenced by his dreams and went crazy. His dreams played a part in the nurture aspect of his development and messed with him as a person. We also know that Enmu ended up becoming a "doctor" (he faked being one) but his work was sketchy, as in he would manipulate and hypnotize his patients into believing they were fine. He believed that by doing this, he could let people die happy instead of die worrying which while is a sorta sweet gesture, is not a good alternative to actually curing people. Then one day Muzan found him and began eating him, but Enmu was just so out of it and numb to the pain that he found what Muzan was doing amusing. When Muzan saw his reaction, he decided to make Enmu a demon. The rest is history

59:33 Isn't that the whole point of the show. Even Demons are continuously stating that. Also just because Rengoku was able to inflict damage doesn't mean he is a better fighter or could take him down easily if it wasn't for his instant regeneration. Akaza is using his fist to fight against a skilled warrior with a sword. Also he fights like a demon too not like a demon Slayer. He doesn't care about injuries. Throughout the fight he never actually took the fight seriously whereas towards the end he was caught off guard with the willpower of Rengoku also for the sake of the story too and suddenly got scared when he saw the sunlight and was unable to maintain his composure. Fun fact Akaza's will power even exceeds that of Rengoku. The final arc is still to be animated.

The Mugen Train is really good! I enjoyed the premise of the story with all the action, suspense, and intensity. What I didn’t count on was the passing of Rengoku. I could not hold my tears over his death, a character, let alone a Hashira we barely got to know over time and yet, he showed a lot in such a short span of time. That’s actually pretty cool.

Hi Tim and Clariss Great reaction to Demon slayer mugen train the movie Rengoku is so cool and when he killed of you fill the same pain Tajiro Zenitsu and Inosuke are filling Because outside of the 3 girls at Demon slayer hedqrter But at this point in the story Tajiro Zenitsu and Inosuke and Nezuko were treated like a joke by the other members of the Hashira no one thought anything of Tham but Rengoku saw something in Tajiro and the other and new that they were strong and even though he was against Nezuko at first helping the Demon slayers Nezuko was willing to put her own life on the line to protect people from harm and he told Tajiro that he was glad to have gotten to fight by here side and consider her a member of the Demon Slayer gang And Inosuke speeches to Tajiro was great you want to do right bye Rengoku than stop crying and start training again and get stronger that is the best way to honor him and Inosuke him self was crying when he was saying that And that was the first time we saw Inosuke cry

This movie is really brilliant and also a tear jerker. 😔 this is what I meant in your last video that you meet a hated demon because I dislike the demon that killed Rengoku. His death really broke me 😭 especially because we were just introduced to him in this movie and saw how awesome he is. It was probably one of the saddest animated deaths I ever watched and that’s why he is a Hashira I truly respect! En el momento del mugen train, rengoku estaba en el puesto 3 , debajo de sanemi y gyomei, y Tengen, mitsuri, giyu, y el resto de hashiras estaba detrás de él, pero a partir del entrenamiento hashira todos incrementaron su poder, y giyu en la pelea con akaza usando todo su poder igualó o aún estaba un poquito abajo de rengoku, pero superó a Tengen y mitsuri, y cuando despertó la Marka superó a rengoku duplicando o triplicando su poder, y al final giyu en estado base estába por un poco encima de rengoku, cuando despiertan la Marka y la desactivan su estado base incrementa un poco como le sucedió a tokito y mitsuri

@@hollow9302 no its confirm that shinobu is the weakest. She is so weak that she can't slice demon's head .So she uses a stinger sword so that she can poison the demons . Although she is very fast(4th fastest unmarked) but her only major battle was against doma himself and doma easily killed her. So overall she is 9th.
