Fact that can be true in demon Slayer Demon slayer season 1 : at end of open song in episode tanjiro was on left side.........and he survived at season finale Demon slayer season 2 : at end of song in episode tanjiro and tengen was on left side.........and they both survived at season finale. But in mugen train tanjiro was on left and rengoku was on right...... tanjiro survived and rengoku didn't Therefore according to me one who goes on left survives and one who goes right, dies......and this may be true

Dude they did remember Mitsuri, and did eventually remember Muichiro. As for names, they've always been pretty bad with those, and that doesn't have any relation to how invested they are in the show. Their names are only said like twice in S1 and not at all in S2. I still don't remember the stone hashira's full name and I'd call myself pretty good with names (something like Himejima). So, what does it say? Not much.
