“Set your heart ablaze.” A simple line with a deep meaning. An old philosopher once said “To live in the present is peace.” Rengoku did exactly this. He never let any moment go to waste. Which is actually why he eats so excitedly. Every moment, even the simplest of things he enjoyed to the fullest and never took anything for granted. After the death of his mother, it opened his eyes that life is to short and everything must be enjoyed. “Set your heart ablaze” is symbolism for not just determination and never surrendering, it’s the embodiment to live in the present and never take life for granted. What a true legend.

"Best to give me your Loyalty, cause I'll be taking the world you see, you'll be calling me Royalty" Rengoku didn't care what others thought, he didn't let others decide what he could and could not be. He claimed ownership of his destiny and became it's ruler. He was a paragon to be certain. A true champion of the idea of self mastery and self acceptance. (Edit): I want to talk about how amazing this amv is the editing is spot on and Rengoku going through his flashback and remembering his motivation before fighting the impossible was the cherry on top. Needless to say, good job!

This AMV made me watch demon slayer, normally im a guy who ignores the hyped animes because they are just hyped ? Like what´s the logic behind that ? Sure there are some animes ,,overhyped" but ive realised that the most of them are actually good or even goated. And Demon Slayer is surely goated if you like the artwork/style. Kyojuro had the potential to surpass anyone in the demon corps (CAP only 4th place) !! 1: He was close to the realm (selfless state), he honed his spiritual force + sword skills by himself without guidance 2: His training was partially completed, he didn't get the full training so basically he wasn't 100% to his full potential (We never saw him performing all 9 forms, theory saying that he only knew some forms and one of them was the hardest--9th form : Rengoku ) 3: He almost made it to selfless state (which is what Akaza never made it through decades) *SPOILER* = massive jump in power scale 4: He blocked a full force attack by Akaza when the sun was rising (impressive feat when he got donut, and technically his spine was destroyed = it means he was paralyzed) **Akaza was surpised because he was sure Kyojuro would be dead after that attack, under the panic condition of the sun rising soon, I believe Akaza was going all out on that punch instead of toying him 5: His sword never chipped that means he mastered all his breathings to perfection (only a few forms) 6: His smile Kyojuro vs Giyu In manga, it took Tanjiro (Higonari Haruka "Not sun berathing, this dance is a modification based on Sun Breathing, thats why it's a different name" + Selfless state + Lengendary sword + training) and Giyu (Mark + training) => 2 Hashiras level with power up to take down Akaza !! Giyu broke his sword even with mark and two hands while attacking-> his skills haven't been mastered -> he barely catched up to Akaza being moderately injured (without Tanjiro cutting Akaza's arm, Giyu would die too) Kyojuro one hand slicing Akaza's neck and one hand blocking his full attack -> Therefore, Kyojuro > Giyu (Pre Akaza / Mugen Train) -> he could outscale Giyu Kyojuro vs Tengen Muzan said Upper 6 could kill everyone if he didn't have his sister, this is true but I don't think it should be a key metric to assume that Upper 6 can replace Upper 5 or 4 (Mark Tokito HUGEEEE> Unmark Tengen + Tanjiro + Zenitsu +Inosuke -(Tengen collectively praised Tokito's massive power because Tokito became Hashira only in 2 months with his own training and teaching + Tokito is strong because he's from the Sunbreathing family -> his stats are already beyond common hashiras, everything can be checked in ss2 )-> Upper 6 can't never replace Upper 5 -> Akaza > Upper 4 > Upper 5 (this information is useless because it was stated in the series, but this is for people who butt kiss Upper 6 and Tengen) -> Rengoku > Tengen (Tengen did praise Rengoku and looked up to him in ss2) For people who think Kyojuro reached his limits: -Akaza did say Kyojuro couldn't improve no more is because Akaza himself had no trust in human's potential and he was proven wrong. He thought Tanjiro was weak (Mugen Train Arc) and decided to kill him first -> later Tanjiro scaled up beyond his imagination and Akaza lost to Tanjiro because he underestimated Tanjiro's potential -> same for Kyojuro if he lived and could gain some power up so there are still plenty of rooms for Kyojuro to scale up. -Akaza said Kyojuro reached his physical limits (WRONG, if Kyojuro got his mark, he would have a long way to reach the limits). In sword village arc, 2 hashiras got marks and defeated 2 upper moons (ranked higher than Upper 6). Marks improve physical strength and stats -In human life, Akaza reached his potential and accepted to become stronger by drinking Muzan's blood. (Yes Akaza killed 67 swordmen when he was a human but so can a low and no rank demons) -> In kokushibo's memory aka Upper 1, his army (who were elite samurais) got slayed by a low demon and was rescued by Yorichi ----> Akaza assumption on Kyojuro can't be 100% correct because we know demon slayers break the barriers anyways regardless of their ranks !! -----------> This is the buff from the author !!! There are a lot of people ranking Kyojuro < Kocho < Mitsuri < Tengen < Giyu < Tokito < Iguro < Shinazaguwa < Himejima ! My boy needs some recognitions for his feats !! So my personal list is Kocho < Tengen < Mitsuri < Iguro < Giyu < Rengoku
