Personally, I still like episode 19 because of the conflict of what family means to Tanjirou vs Rui and the introduction of Hinokami Kagura. But I’d have to be lying if this didn’t come really close. Gyutaro taunting Tanjirou and the sibling bond between him and Daki really hit me. Also, the animation was as good, if not better, and it lasted the whole episode. I was especially impressed with the fire in the foreground before the fight restarts. Overall, it’s easily the best animated episode so far but it’s a little underwhelming in the emotional department when compared to episode 19 and the Akaza fight.

The way the sibling relationship of the 2 duos were shown, comparing the circumstances and how different it could have been if Tanjiro also became a demon. As well as how Nezuko saves Tanjiro through his sub consciousness every time he is near death is quite up there. But, is second to ep 19 of S1. What this episode does is pumps your adrenaline to the max, and that's flamboyant if you ask me.

Their breathtaking exchanging of parries and strikes really makes you had a goosebumps and jaw dropping experience you had never felt before. The fight is more impressive in retrospect considering that Tengen didn't match an Upper Moon through the usual power-up like the Mark or reaching Highest Realm, he literally went technical with the Time Signature of Gyutaro's movement and just hit every note like a beat-saber game, WITH ONE HAND. Imagine being Gyutaro, being the first Upper Moon to be toppled in over a century because a ninja made a diss track of his movement pattern and tipped the scales against him.

one of my favorite things, I think a lot of people dont realize or overlook, is that at the 0:28 mark, that is the first time we hear Uzui's theme song in all its full glory and potential. The first time we get a hint of his theme is back in Episode 1 when he was introducing himself to Tanjiro while holding Aoi, you can hear a quiet version of it in the background. The next one is when he came down to the food hoard of Daki and saving his wives and Inosuke and Zenitsu. But now here, we hear his theme with nothing held back, adding a choir in there, it sends chills down my spine every time. Its similar to Rengoku's theme actually, we hear his theme at its best potential and glory during his ninth form, but we hear little snippets of it during the early segments of the Mugen Train arc. I love it when music tells the story too.

Favorite part of watching this fight and listening to this song is realizing that Uzui's best power is literally hearing the tempo of an enemy's motion and stepping accordingly. What's even better is that the reason it takes Uzui a moment to figure the enemy out (other than needing time to work the power, as stated) has everything to do with *what* he learns. The "filthy score" Uzui references is a 5-4 beat. If one goes by the belief that music theory is true, that rhythm informs all motion in life, and that song's power is influencing in the motion and flow of life, then Gyutoro fights at an abnormal, slightly erratic pace that can be difficult to counter conventionally. Hey, how about that awesome battle between the Slayers and Upper 6? Whoever wrote the music for this fight is a master of their class.

If you wanna better understand it, tengen uses gyutaros moves as a song, as there are spaces between each attack, like spaces between each note in a song. He uses that to deflect it and turn the blood sickles into a song

I really love the fight theme used. Ufotable really has a knack for deepening a scene or fight with music. Tengen can finally use his Musical Score Technique and the chaotic, uneasy music from the episode before now shifts into a beautiful and upbeat melody, signifying Tengen's resolve and confidence. He now moves to the rhythm of Gyutaro's attacks, dancing as he fights. Simply amazing and a great theme to go along with the visuals. This episode is top tier and truly one of the greatest episodes I've ever seen.
