Daki and Guuytaro had a very sad past, but somehow I’m happy because in the end they cared for each other and were together even after death. They felt like the most human demons so far, I enjoy thinking like that for those two. I also believe that from 100 years from this point, or in future japan in their world they get reincarnated as siblings with a better life, just as Daki said.

Doma is mentally ill like that. He was born a psychopath. Even at a young age, he could not discern right from wrong. His idea of preserving life is eating people (particularly women), so that they could live inside him for all eternity. Now, whether his intention is malicious or just misguided naivety is questionable. He's still in the wrong, but for almost all demons, there's always a reasoning behind their actions.

Nezuko’s Demon art doesn’t heal them exactly. It’s fire that only damages demons and demon arts. So it wouldn’t work on normal poison. But since Gyutaro’s poison is a demon art she could destroy it

Gyutaro and Tanjiro have a lot in common. Both are the elder brother who care about his sister a lot. Both was born poor and must take on the man of the house role because of the lack of a father. And before stricken with tragedy, both had a hopeful outlook about the future. Both have to look after his sister because they cannot function independently after they turned demon. And they are both rescued by a commander of the current group they belong to: Doma for Gyutaro and Ginyu for Tanjiro.

The content is a bit sensitive so if you don't like it, I'll delete this comment. Daki is written in Kanji as "堕姫" ."堕"means "Fallen" and "姫" means "princess. With in the story ,Guutaro said that Ume was named after the disease that killed their mother. Ume is written in Kanji as "梅" and We Japanese fans think it comes from "梅毒" that means syphilis. This is why Guutaro thought Ume was pretty bad,too. Guutaro is written in Kanji as "妓夫太郎" . 妓夫太郎 is a position name which means a peroson who extracts money or something. I love Guutaro and Daki. Fun fact: Daki's real name Ume is described as 梅 in Japanese. The meaning of 梅 (ume) usually is "plum" and it was popular name in old Japan. However, when we talk about venereal disease, there is a name of disease using this letter called "梅毒” (Baidoku, means " syphilis"). Her name was taken from that disease name that's why Gyutaro said her name was pretty bad in this case. I think even some of young Japanese people wouldn't understand it.

I have to be honest. Gyutaro abd Daki’s backstory is one of the saddest for the demons. Burned alive by the people you trusted and turned into a demon without consent to only save your ‘brother’. Then realizing how much he needed to be with ‘Ume’… Gyutaro regretted everything. It’s so sad. Those are the only demons I’ve ever cried for. ❤️‍🩹

See, this is why I'm glad that I'm a sympathetic and kind person like Tanjiro---I don't like to judge a book by its cover. Because most of the time, bullies/mean people live terrible lives. They're abused or neglected by their family, or both. Sometimes even worse. Of course, that doesn't excuse those bullies or mean people for being mean and bullying others. But I'm just saying that they do it because they want an outlet---Somewhere to put all of their pain and suffering. Gyutaro and Ume's backstory is proof of that. They both lived harsh lives. They were rejected by their own family. So they took care of each other, and I respect that. I'm 16, and I live in a household where my dad is abusive and my mom... She basically encourages me to end my life, because it's one less child she has to worry about. My brother doesn't really care about me all that much, but when we were little, we used to love each the same way Gyutaro and Ume care for each other. I'm glad I didn't turn out to become a bully, and I'm grateful that my life isn't as harsh as Gyutaro and Ume. At least I can move out of this household in 2 years. But my brother will be trapped in the cycle. Anyways---Sorry for all of this emotional baggage--What I'm trying to say is: Gyutaro and Ume's backstory is just so terrible. How they were treated was disgusting. Nobody ever deserves that kind of treatment---Regardless if you're pretty or ugly. Damn, Demon Slayer is so good at putting unsympathetic people in other people's shoes. I was born an understanding and sympathetic person to those with not so good lives, because my life isn't so good, and that helps me connect to those who turned out bad because of their harsh lives.

Anyway, I think they didn't animate The Upper Moon meeting since they want to start next season strong, also if they'd decided to animate the meeting this season that would mean that the VAs for the rest of the Upper Moons are secure, and maybe they are not at the moment. They also want to sell how big of a deal of beating an upper moon too and wanted to give pay off for Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer corps. It's sort of a pay off for Rengoku as well since he sacrificed his life for this to happen.
