Yeah, I don't know about mcfarlane. Their 7" line looks kind of weird in the face, and it doesn't seem like they articulate well. Their 5" line is just bad. They're practically statues.

@@gundamguy833 I have the mcfarlane 7” he’s solid man they’re just a different kind of figure than most others you have to mess with them to get a good pose in but I like these guys more

For innosuke I removed the fur . And replace it with cloth. That looks like the fur and detail it looks so much better and I’m move so much better!

That's a great idea! What kind of cloth did you use or where did you get it?

@@Collect.Reflect I just called random cloth and old shirts just in case if I’m gonna make a custom or close for my figure. And I was tired of the movement on the leg so I just replace it with the same color and they make it stay down, just like the anime I put hair gel to give that shading and texture and it’s not all over the place to .

I think inosuke specifically actually wraps his swords under his belt/skirt and thats how he holds them when not in use but idk if you could actually do that with this figure

The fur piece is too stiff. It's also too close to his waist, so the swords wouldn't really fit. That's why I decided to use rubber bands instead. There might be a way to cut holes in the fur and slide the swords in that way, but I personally don't think it would be worth it

My tanjiro had the hole in the scabbard and a different katana piece with a peg almost to keep it in place, probably a qc issue?

Yea, you are right. I think my scabbard was supposed to come like that as well, just like zenitsu's. It might honestly just be a bit of excess paint that is covering the hole

Do you know if bandai will continue this line and add more demon slayer characters? And if you do, do you have any idea when?

Personally, I have no clue. I know these figures are pretty new, so if the line does continue, I wouldn't expect anything sooner than the end of the year or early next year. I would imagine if the line does well, the next figures will possibly be Nezuko, Muzen, and maybe a Hashira, but this is all speculation on my part. I'm still waiting to see if they plan to release a new wave for the Naruto ultimate legends as well!

@Collection Reflection Yea I'd love for them to tackle an upper rank or a a hashira, I really hope they'd increase the price for characters like Tengen Uzui or Gyomei so they can be as big as they are in the show, it'd suck to have a tall character be as short as tanjiro

Obviously, it would be nice if they could scale correctly at the same price, but a 6-7 inch figure with this level of articulation for $20 would still be a pretty great deal. If the price did go up anymore, I would really hope they address the loose joint issues. It would suck to have a great looking figure that falls to pieces anytime you want to play with it

@Sparky that's true, but my figures biceps will pop out often. I think this is because the peg doesn't go deep enough, so even with the polish they can feel a bit cheap some times. It's not a massive issue, but it is something I hope doesn't happen if the prices increase any further

is there a way you took the figures out the packaging without damaging the box?

You should be able to (carefully) slice the tape with a sharp knife to open the display, then I try to slowly lift the plastic cover from the bottom. You can also take the same knife and place it between the plastic and the cardboard and slowly separate them from each other. I lift the plastic just enough to slide the figure tray out. You might rip some of the cardboard that has the glue on it, but it shouldn't be too noticeable once you close everything back up. I hope this helps

I take a new razor blade make sure it’s new and I carefully cut the plastic where it meats the cardboard make sure not to cut at a angle because u will cut the artwork. I do this on every figure I have that way I can repackage wen I need to store

I don’t know wether to buy these or the mc farlane since these have more articulation but are also more fragile and since I’m buying these for my younger brothers I don’t know which is better do you know what might be better

It really depends on how young he is and how rough your brother will be with them. If he is good at not losing small accessories or breaking his figures, then I'd definitely recommend these over the McFarlane. But if he is going to throw/smash them or leave them in random places, then I'd probably pick McFarlane because they seem sturdier and larger. But McFarlane also has a few characters in a similar scale to these, but they have almost 0 articulation. So I'd only recommend those for a younger kid who doesn't really care about posing or detail and just wants the character in figure form

I agree, very upsetting! Not having vertical wrists or a functional scabbard are probably the biggest issues I have with these figures. I also wish Inosuke's fur piece was more flexible

I have fun with them, but if you are too rough, the swords and arms might break. Inosuke feels more sturdy than the rest, but the fur limits his legs a bit. I wouldn't recommend these for children, unless they really take care of their things. They should be great for most people 13+

I'm not entirely sure how their distribution works, but I saw the full set at Target a couple of weeks ago. I know these are pretty new, so they might take a while to pop up everywhere. I don't have a lot of practice with stop motion, but they are pretty well articulated for their size and price point, but they don't have many interchangeable parts and thier wrists lack vertical hinges, so that may be a bit challenging

Without actually seeing the figmas in hand, i think these are a pretty decent, budget friendly alternative. Although, if you have the money and are feeling generous, Tis the season of giving 🎁
